I’m convinced the CHGO guys don’t understand that the bears are losing games not because skill positions are bad it’s because the trenches are bad. The broncos proved over a decade ago that you can have a 1000 yard rb every year without using a high round draft pick on the position as long as your oline is good.
Disagree they talk about the trenches a lot..........its going to be interesting to see what side of the ball Poles drafts vs what he signs as FA's. Hopefully he goes all in for Trey Smith. there will be good RBs to look at mid round day 2 or even 3 picks.
The Best DT I've seen is Lott from Tennessee. Nobody can stop him. Nolen is very twitchy. 290lbs so... I think a DE/3Tech Shrine Bowl best DT was Indiana DT CJ West. Don't buy Draft Hype. Let your eyes tell you. So Rd 2 and 4 may be the best DTs in this draft
This draft is devoid of top tier talent. Even the top 5 guys aren’t clear top guys. Travis hunter is only there because he has a low bust factor since he can play two positions. So it’s really going to come down to individual teams.
I think we should trade down and get an extra pick and pick Nolen with our first rounder. That’s if mason or Abdul isn’t there at 10. Walter is a great prospect
Hard to say that until we see what they get in Free agency. If they sign Trey Smith and either Dalman or another guard (maybe Zeitler). Then maybe one of the 2nd rounders and the other along with the first round on the D-Line.
