    Are you sure the springs go that way, on the pin I mean, instead of fitting into the shoes' holes?

      Yeah on these single cylinder brakes It hooks on the pin. 🙂👍

    Did the oil seal go back the correct way round?

      Yep I know what you mean , I restored my 2a 30 years ago, and its been off the road for the last 15-20 years stored outside which was a big mistake, judging by the amount of rot in the bulkhead it looks like I will have to start again. I wonder what I will find that I got wrong first time round.

    It is really annoying that wheel cylinders don't come with new nuts. I'd pay extra just to avoid the pissing about.

      Definitely! it would cost manufacturer's penny's to do but I'd bet they'd sell more. 🙂👍
