Boondocks humor really needs its context, the episodes are themed so well, clips dont do it justice.
To be fair that one where he handed the belt to the mother was the start of the episode.

@@theatriculttrue. I’ve seen all the southpark episodes that have been shown as clips here so it’s hard to think about what people who haven’t seen it must be thinking seeing it out of context.
Yeah it's really REALLY hard to get the full humor of these clips without seeing the full episodes. And they keep events from previous episodes in later ones. Brilliantly crafted humor.

The Boondocks was a masterclass of mixing comedy and social commentary back in the day. You'll love it.
And like South Park back in the day, everyone got the piss taken out of them. Not one group or subject was granted safety from being mocked. I miss the 2000s.
As someone who loves Boondocks, the humor is the kind of humor where if you think it's 'oFfeNsIvE' or 'rAcIsT' it's because you're who it's joking about. The only people I know who don't care for this show are people who the show would most likely be taking shots at.
I’ve not seen a single black person hate this show. Back when the Black Airforce Stinkmeaner video was going around I swear every black person who reacted to that not only knew the show but loved it

Nux needs to watch more Boondocks. This is some of the most tame parts you couldve seen. Uncle Ruckus, Booty Warrior, a Pimp named Slickback, the exorcism. This man needs to see the good stuff.

Actually this was pretty normal. You can easily get a bunch of clips that are more tame than ones in this video. Of course you could easily get clips way worse than ones in this video.

The White Heaven bit for me is still pretty fucked. I had to stop watching for a while after I first saw that one because of how fucked that bit was. It had me laughing so hard I pulled a muscle lol.

He's one of the best aspects of this show. Not because he's likable or does anything good, but because he's so god damn messed up and racist that you can only laugh at it in disbelief of what your hearing lol.
The one time I thought he went to far and I had to stop watching for a while was the " White Heaven" bit with Ronald Reagan. I laughed so damn hard I pulled a muscle and had those pains. I turned it off after I got my shit together, I had reached the limit of how much I could handle from that show for at least a few weeks.

The creator was annoyed fourth season was approved without them. adding things the show really did not need. It is not surprising a reboot would not work out.
I'm actually glad the reboot never happened, I think the climate of our current culture would have made it insufferable much like every other show they try to revive. The Boondocks can only work during the 2000s, today it could not thanks to so many people in media seeing race everywhere and thinking what society needs(mostly to us white people) is more lectures about the struggle of minorities, and how its whitey and the christians who are out to shove them back into the shadows.

That was the tamest Boondocks compilation I’ve ever seen… It’s actually quite impressive how vanilla it was considering how spicy the show actually is.
Man if you dont start watching full episodes im rioting. This show is GOLD.
My stepson introduced me to this show and we would be dying with laughter watching nearly every episode. Kudos to the writers and choice of voice actors as they came together for some amazingly well delivered dialogue.
Nux is flying close to the sun and im all for it. Boondocks was one of those necessary shhows that needs to be watched
My favorite ever episode was with Huey fighting Oprah's samurai bodyguard with a taser first.

this 2005 show was a classic, and solid show season 1-3 , and fell in quality in its 4th after its creator left.Its defintley worth a watch as its showed based off of social commentary, it doesn't lecture you. You can tell in the first couple of minutes it was made in a different era
Riley has some of the best one-liners in this series. The Boondocks will go down in comedic history.

Boondocks couldn't be made today. Mostly cause John Witherspoon is dead and it wouldn't be the same, but also because some people would be offended by the jokes
