Seeing another left handed person talking about "palm rejection" sold this for me. I've watched loads of videos on this laptop. This is the first time it was mentioned. Most thorough video by far.
It's really weird to see a laptop get worse over time. I have the 1030 G3 with hardware volume rocker, side power-switch, a 1080 webcam, a 120Hz panel. Granted the CPUs get better over time, I wonder why the rest of the laptop must suffer. Innovation is truly stagnating and the consumer loses so much in the name of bezels. Just for the webcam alone during the new pandemic era, I am so glad I got the G3.
Could you please say something about fan behavior /fan noise ? I would like to buy this model but afraid of high-pitched fan noise. I work in a very quiet environment.
i have heard horrible stories about this so called sure view...i also experienced it and its grainy and looks like brightness is focused on your field of view.

The noise level is not bad at all a low humming noise which i think would be fine in a quiet environment.
