Michael Howard obviously. But he's keeping the power right where it needs to be to keep the weight from shifting. If you shift and don't adjust your power output there will be a weight shift.
Like your comment. Re ran the video again . smooth as silk . I'm a novice wannabe, but like to learn about techniques such as mastering 280 power on 2 wheels
@@jwhiskey5218 It's a double apex curve. This is the only way to do it at these speeds. They are trained to look but not turn in too early. Listen to his gas in the middle of that curve. Right in the middle, he up shifts but than hesitates before he's back on the gas to complete the second apex, it's a text book way. A lot of practice, but he's a God given talent, that is for sure
@@commandermark79 You are half right, upshifting but not hitting gas is not hesitation, that's preparation for short shifting, that corner is ideal for it.
If you take a closer look at the first years of marques, he followed VR46 a few times to understand his lines so he could improve his times. He also improved his tire management cause back in that tme VR46 was the rider that used it wisely.(mainly pre 2015)
Always checking the apex. Best bike rider by a country mile.
Notice his shifts. How he changes gear and there's absolutely zero shift of weight. That is incredible skill.
MotoGP bikes have quick shifters.

Watching onboard videos of the other riders on other bikes, I don't see any weight shift. Perhaps my eyes are bad or I need a higher-res monitor.
Michael Howard well considering his the goat I don't know why it's so hard to see why he's the best.

when the rear of the bike appears to start sliding mid-turn does that mean that the brakes are being applied?
It means the back tyre is spinning too fast to maintain friction with the tarmac, usually due (fractionally) too much power being applied.
46... UN SENTIMIENTO.. 💪
Fa paura in questo video, vola...😵😍
Watch his head 0:24, looking for the next apex before completing the first one.
Nice catch... i keep thinking, how much is pure talent and how much is practice?
