It is an excellent boat. Glad to see it is a FG hull and cored deck. What kind of coring would be interesting to know. I suspect you will love the pilot house configuration. I am a power boat guy who watches a lot of sailing videos so it is certainly not my expertise. Even though the hours on the engine are reported as low, I would replace, the starter, alternator (maybe a larger one) and the make sure the heat exchanger is clear. Other tripwires are fuel pump and water pumps. Did I hear the surveyor mention something about engine mounts? On an engine like this it will not cost a lot of money to do these things. Pulling an injector may not be a bad idea. Great choice. You will love it....and I will enjoy your journey.

I tend to agree. Some of these channels come across as rather self indulgent and borderline narcissistic and forgetting why people find these channels interesting. The best channels focus on the boat and sailing first, personalities second. But who am i to judge. Hope it all works out for them.

Start learning how to fix your own boat instead of spending money it’s first rule , so next go buy the tools , hand books and read up , day one
