once I forgot to fix the tablets for transport. It was a simple missing hole - weaving, looks a bit like hering-bone, really simple, about 48 tablets. I needed about 4 hours to undo the chaos :-D and I had to explain the visitors at the medieval market, why I can't show weaving
if I find a mistake in my cord fabric, in my tablet weaving, then I weave back and if there is a whole meter to the mistake, even with twill this is no problem for me, because when I find the mistake I correct it Error, otherwise I would always get annoyed about it, I have already threaded a finished cord fabric several times back into the weaving tablets and have woven back until I found the mistake and corrected it, weaving back a cord fabric, of course only someone like me can do it because only a master of weaving tablets like me can do that.
Thank you for this video, it will really help me in the future! Do you have any advice on how to use this technique when the weft and warp are sticky? I usually weave with handspun wool singles and they start to felt together after a pick or two which makes pulling the weft out harder.
Alec Story Hi Mervi here: my answer would be ”very carefully”, thread by thead, not weaving back even it would be faster. Use pin like I have on video to dig out the weft. And handspun yarn -oh they really felt :) avoid mistakes so you avoid undoing...
