We all deserve a Soft Life 🙌🏽 I only exert my energy in what serves me and not glorifying my problems. Life is short to spend it stressed and overwhelmed. There will always be some kind of problems/difficulty but let’s refuse to be consumed by it. A positive mindset breeds positive results 🙌🏽

The idea of a soft life is not one I am entirely opposed to, but I frown upon its consumerist manifestations. One should not have to buy a life of ease and nor should it be Instagram worthy. It shouldn’t be limited to indulging oneself but encompass what Lynx Sainte-Marie calls a “community care practice and politic.” It should ensure that others too can experience comfort and peace in their lives which enables a continuous sharing of softness.

@@charlespulliamjr6531 I think they likely meant more that it’s the simple things like those that can make a huge difference. The sentiment is still correct, obviously add and subtract anything you want from the equation, everyone has different wants and needs. For some, it really is that simple though. My Gran and Mum are living proof of that, happy with the tiniest of things like that and they really can’t ask for much more. I strive to be like that, but I’m just simply not that type of person.

I've been seeking this kind of life for the past 7 years and had no name for it... I just had a vision of a tiny home in nature, healthy eating, a big dog, a guitar, tons of books and a cozy nook! Soft life sums it up perfectly 💗
As a Christian, I really enjoyed this video. My husband and I take a weekly sabbath to rest together. We usually go running, read the Bible together, take our dog to the dog park, and have date night. And only do chores that we enjoy. I think we all need regular rest. I forgot these goals while being a mom with yogi children at home for 35 years. I made my kids and home the focus and forget about my well being. I gave up exercise for 35 years and now at 65 at am finally focusing to get into better physical condition. These are very doable I didn’t think about my own well-being.
Treating oneself with little pleasures can be so beneficial to ones mental health as well.

Yeah let's not say this is about femininity, this mindset is unrealistic and unappealing regardless. By all means notice and appreciate the little things, but a life of ease and comfort isn't possible without struggle from someone. I'd rather aspire to be someone who's strong enough to give and recieve support in that struggle. Share the load and make the world better.

Video should be called 'how to avoid responsabilities and excape reality when you're super rich'
This was recommended to me by RUclips. I've only heard a little but living a soft life sounds like a way to make you utterly unprepared for tradgedy, and tragedy always comes to us all. "What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger" is the opposite sentiment and a stupid one to, you can get shot and heal but still be paralyzed from the waist down. Soldiers who come back from war alive with bad ptsd aren’t stronger.
But this lifestyle seems to be for women only, if men aren’t go getter they won't ever get her. She needs a man who works hard so that she can live soft.

In my opinion this is some sexist content, and completely goes against feminism. You're convincing yourself and others that you're fragile, soft individuals and this is not a desirable life for most women. I am a man, and i'd be glad to have women reactions to this. before considering us as women or men, i think we should consider ourselves as human beings and think about what it implies. What's our role in a community, in nature, what purpose do we serve? This video completly misses the essence of what's life and how to be happy. I think true happiness is made through progress and 'self developpment' has to be related with struggling, making misstakes, improve and keep trying to archieve new goals. All of this is emotionally demanding for sure, you'll sometimes feel down, are gonna need to fight, sometimes against others, sometimes against yourself, and happiness will come when you'll be able to witness the progress you made in life. 'After the rain comes the sunshine' implies the existence of rain.
I like women that can stand for themselves and that are capable to do stuff that's actually useful in real life. Skilled women. Not those who need a man to sustain on. A real relationship is based on sharing and MUTUAL support. I completely missed the part in this video when she explains how to deal with your basic vital needs.

Sometimes it's hard to say positive when you're constantly in a negative lifestyle- I'm currently going through group and psychological therapies and while they help, one of my therapists has a negative attitude-at least right now - and it causes me a great deal of stress and I feel worst going than I do going in - like I feel in church .I'm trying to get help and clarity to have a healthy, soft life , but , negative things has weighed me down because I try so hard to try to live positively, but, I get more defensive when people are constantly critiquing and saying something negative and disrespectful. But , lately , my attitude is like , " Whatever, " not in a negative way, it just means that I'm tired of the negativity and rudeness and hatefulness and disrespectful comments and only going to concentrate on how I feel about myself and how I act towards myself better and healthier - and the only opinion that counts is mine and mine only and stop caring or worrying about what others say and leave the negativity to the haters .
It helps to find something positive, maybe not about the person, but the situation.... 🌸

yes, thanks for this. Essential jobs aren't compatible with this soft life BS and this movement is kinda scaring me. Just shows how priviledged some ppl are. also, idk about the person talking about 'masculine energy' but before thinking about our gender, i think we should consider what bein a Human is and what it implies. A lot of women are essential workers aswell and can't have this kind of 'soft life' because they have actual responsabilities and need to understand how the real world works to take the best decisions. Life is not easy, it's a rollercoaster and true hapiness can only make sense if you compare the moment to the ones when you were struggling
