I've worked at Lowe's for 2 years. Never have I ever seen more than 2 bunks put up at once. It was a miracle that load didn't break OR damage the forklift.
The guy driving was on it for over 2 hours moving around loads. He literally had 2" on either side. All that work for the morning guy to come in and do it correctly. Could you imagine the crowd of customers gathering around to see that during the prime hours? That one customer would need the middle plank of top top bunk😂😂😂
Wrong, should not have stacked the two extra bunks of wood on each side. Makes the entire load flex and change. also he should have adjusted his forks all the way out when moving 16' boards. You can just tell it's inexperience, he will get it.
Had a district manager that fired the DS and MASM for banding bunks like that saying it is unsafe. Said that only same size bunks are allowed to be banded. Ie 16 ft bunks can only be banded to 16 ft bunks.
For stripping purposes I prefer same size lumber banded together. But in this case they should have used what few brain cells they have left and not went forward with this dumbass idea.
I had a stack of toilets fall on me because an employee didn't band a pallet and they did not get fired, literally almost crushed my childhood friend who was buying the toilet. I had a brick almost hit me in the head because someone used them to keep a tarp down but instead of putting them on the ground like a sane person they put the bricks 12 up in the air on top of the cabinets they were keeping dry, so when I grabbed a cabinet a bunch of bricks almost murdered me, it was -50 temp and I was outside, so I'd just have died if hit, nobody on the night crew would have found me 'til store open. I hit a beam with the forklift doing a u turn to park while the store was closed, I reported the scratch on the cantelievre and they fired me the next day, literally had 3 days left at the store and the person who fired me had worked there less than a month. They also gave me 50$ for saving them 2.2 mil/yr, which was handed to me by the new manager (my manager of 5 years left because home depot is shitty) and that new manager hired an asm specifically to fire me, thus why I was switching stores. I should have skipped my 2 week and just told my store to fuck themselves. So HQ basically can suck my clit and HD can eat my dick
That lumber is too far out on the right...for landing clearance...I put up pretty tall and wide pallets about 4 to 5 tear high...but I use a 4 fork lift
