The guy who did the narrating deserves a 10/10 👏 give the man a raise!
I fell in love with Los Angeles because of GTA V
Because of a game? Nice. It's always so fun to play the game, then go the same day and see the stuff in real life.
RapidZ UpR
Yea man... I'm not from the US so I never really bothered about los angeles but after playing the game I looked it up and los angeles is really nice!!
I live an hour off LA. and to be honest it has its nice and ugly parts of the cities. but i honestly think LA got nothing on Dubai
Dubai is basically L.A. without the poor people.
M0RPED 😎
I am an L.A. Resident and anyone who says Los Angeles is dull hasn't really explored around enough, it's amazing here. Don't let anyone stop you from living here or visiting and having fun. L.A. Rocks come along guys!
+Bobby Reyes It depends where you live in L.A., I wouldn't necessarily call places like E. Los Angeles, Inglewood, Compton, Watts, etc. great places to visit or hang out for a night on the town. It's hard to distinguish the cities or areas as not being in L.A. specifically to the uninformed. L.A. rocks only in certain areas and most tourists will probably never see the run-down urban blight. It's like going on a vacation to Jamaica and all you see is the nice new resort but if you escape the confines of the secluded resort the truth will be shown - pure social depravity and economic woes.
+Bobby Reyes Finally someone who makes sense, I'm a resident, too, and still loving it after 10+ years.
+Bobby Reyes so many ppl saying negative things about LA ... my goal is to finish college and move there to work, no matter what people say about it. It looks like a great city with a lot of potential. And about the smog, well London has smog too but isn't even as warm and sunny as LA. Hope I can go there soon !
Melissa Anne I believe you can do it ! Hope you make it here soon. Best of luck !
Couldn't agree more. LA has tremendous amounts of character. An amazing place.
The best feeling I ever had in life was when I first entered Hollywood and saw the Hollywood sign from distance with my cab. Will Never forget how stunning it was!
Oh you're killing me. I had a few hours layover and was trying desperately to see the sign because I've wanted to so badly my whole life since I was a kid. But alas there was a lot of fog or smog and as I was rushing to get closer to see it I had to finally call it off to make my flight. Lol, oh well at least it was kind of an adventure.
We visited LA way back in October 1981 and really loved the whole experience. The
fantastic weather, the laid back lifestyle, in fact the entire experience. We stayed just across the Chinese Theatre, at the Roosevelt Hotel. Back then, we were able to
drive around Beverley Hills, and with the use of a book, were able to locate where the famous stars of the time lived. It was for me, truly a fantasy world of endless
sunshine, and fantastic architecture. We also drove through the Mojave desert to
Las Vegas, which back then was not as big as today, but impressive non the less,
especially at night when all that neon came to life. We finished the trip driving down
to The Grand Canyon, wow what an Awesome sight. You who live there, really
appreciate where you are in the world, a world away from cold, wet, windy Britain.
Thank you for sharing your travel story with us :)
Funny. I had a wonderful, memorable trip to England. I got so excited over sheep on the countryside!!! we never see sheep here! It is a pretty country and everyone was so polite and chill.
The days of guide books. Now it would be gps and serie on your phone or whatever. Just not as fun!
I don't get why I'm watching a video for tourists I already live in la
+Key Pey going to visit LA in December, what's the best way to get around? Bus/train/bike? I'm assuming renting a car is not the best option because of the traffic?
baroquefish I'm sorry if this is late but try the metro bike share
traffic has it's time. it sux
you're so damn lucky. I wish I could go to Los Angeles
ButtMunching Armadillo if you love scenery, good looking people, luxurious vibes and opportunity then come to L.A.🌴🌄🌊🌴🏊🚘🌴
Im from New York, and I fucking love LA. Every city is different, and nice in its own way. Los Angeles is extraordinary.. To me, what makes it special is the scenic roads around the Malibu area..
Yeah LA is so fun I'm used to it (because I live there u should come I bet u will love it
i was there last year, and im definitely coming back to visit this year in dec.. love it.. love the suburbs too, malibu, woodland hills, reseda, hollywood, etc..
yessss!!! Malibu is the best spot in the LA area!! come to long beach next time we have a vibrant downtown and waterfront !
NYC has better transportation and a lot more dining and shopping options than LA. LA has better weather and scenery as you said. New York is a better city but LA is a better place.
Binoy Vudi 0
My dad lives here. I've been living there for almost 8 months and you can't believe how happy I am!
Born and raised here and I love it everything that was listed in this video you have to experience it for yourself you'll fall in love with Los Angeles :)
Thank you for watching! :)
That's refreshing to hear. I'm planning on moving there. It seems like so many people hate it :(
Aerin Donaldson same, born and raised but had to leave to AZ because I lived in the ghetto 323 area.
I wanna live there so bad!!!
I want to go tyere but probably in Dec 2018 for holiday in 2 weeks, LA and the usa is known for movies and the people.
2:44 I died when he said moneh! XD
I love this part too lol
hahaha me too!
L.A is a city to visit but to live I don't know
not much of big police force, spread out suburbs, traffic, high crime rates, high taxes, etc
The only things I admire about L.A:
The weather, low humidity, Hollywood sign ,the beaches near l.a such as Venice Beach, and L.A has one of the largest container ports in America just like NYC, and the laid-back lifestyle
@@RafaFerrer one of the best parts of this video
It takes time to fall in love with Los Angeles, at first you’ll get frustrated and disappointed, but once you give it a year or two.. that mysterious LA noir begins to envelope you and you see it’s true beauty... definitely not your typical city like NY or Chicago that are easy to fall in love with
Been to 71 different Countries and visited hundreds of cities around the world...and living in L.A.for the last 28 yrs...City of Angels is still one of the best places to live or visit...
Los Angeles: home of Champions, celebrities and beautiful people...I Love LA!!! Cheers from Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles...
Mark Valencia As I recall didn't the Dodgers lose in the 2017 World Series against the Astros. If it's a city of champions they shouldn't have got they butts whooped in the world series
Boyle Heights. Home to NONE of those things, lol.
@@andreamcintyre3394 the Astros are cheating scumbags and are yet to win a legitimate title. They're about as sad a franchise as they come 😄
@@michaelmaclane5004 As I recall the Los Angeles Rams did win the Super Bowl this year and the Dodgers won the World Series last year as well as The Lakers. So the city has won the Super Bowl, World Series and the NBA finals to claim the title of home Champions.
I love how the music and the narrating voice goes along with the personality of the city (for example, this guy sounds like an entertainer). Really great job with these videos. I loved L.A. when I visited.
Welcome to los Santos. The city of saints. Rockstar 🎮

NYC, Chicago, and Montreal have some very beautiful winters
Vancouver baby. We've got you beat as far as nature goes but we aren't even close with regards to the attractions.
I grew up here and my dad and I moved away when I was 13 I'm 16 now and I still haven't got over this amazing city I can't wait to move back when I'm an adult
I wouldn't move there unless there's a good paying career wirh a salary of $250,000 and able to see my friends, family and my gf every other week
I'm a proud Angeleno through and through, but even more proud to be from California because our state is simply the best state in the United States.
NYC, Houston,L.A,Paris, Toronto,Miami, and Chicago has the best arts district in America
Nice video. 👍
My dream city.
. . .

I live in long beach close to LA . Wouldn't live anywhere else such a beauty out here , the weather, the beaches, the whole chill vibe out here is amazing.
I like the video. Los Angeles is my hometown. Now, I live in San Diego. I am blessed to live in 2 major California cities.
Cheryl Davis that’s cool
I've been to LA once. I saw a taping of Jay Leno's show. one of the coolest expriances I ever had.
wish I was millionaire and can live in LA.
you don't have to be a millionaire. TBH it's over rated AF. -a native angaleno.
You dont have to be rich to live in LA....and its definitely NOT overrated
joe mamma Normally I wouldn't judge the city I live in. but I travel enough to be able to look at it without taking things for granted. with that being said unless you count universal studios which you shouldnt. it sucks. you may say the beach. but that's in Santa Monica not la also Hyperion the treatment plant for all of LA's shit water dumps in the bay which is also covered in trash. the people here are assholes to (I'm a good example.). Name anything in LA that's cool and it's either not actually in LA or it's only cool for a one time visit.
Kelanu: LA has great weather and very good food, which are the ONLY things I like about LA.
Dine Wherever La has good food yes I will admit. personally though I prefer 65-72 degrees. which it pretty much never gets to.
I've always loved this city a lot but I think I've just fallen in love with it even more after this beautiful video ♡
Carini Babe We're so happy that you enjoyed this video! :)
Why did I want to c-walk while watching this video?

Yep
I remember visiting Los Angeles in September 2019. I really enjoyed myself and I hope to go back next year
Visited Los Angeles in April 2015 ... Loved it amazingly. My favorite places were the Griffith observatory and Venice Beach ... Inside my love by Minnie rippleton and a bunch of stevie wonder songs bring my trip back to life :)
I'm italian and i don't speak english very well but with your guide i know new important things for LA.
It's easy to understend! Thank you
Your English is very good!
loved walking along rodeo drive when I traveled there :)
I lost my heart in Southern California. It was my home for over 40 years and it is really insane how crowded the 1,500 square miles of Los Angeles County has become. The cost of living has also made it very hard to stay afloat in SoCal. The traffic has made it very stressful. The wonderful weather and the variety of foods are awesome. I had to leave early 2015 due to sudden loss of job and home. It is not a place to be homeless or broke. I lost my dear mother there to ALS and it changed my life forever. I am living in Utah now and I wish that I could go back but there is nowhere for me to stay. I do still miss and love LA County. There is good and bad everywhere. I hate the cold, the older I get the more I hate it. If you are lucky enough to live in LA County count your blessings.
And plus the Pacific ocean is freezing.Nothing like the Atlantic Ocean where the water is water
Wow!! Am sooo excited am moving to san Francisco California am leaving Monday and I can't wait to get there

I don't think so. NY and London are much more beautiful.
Los Angeles may have a bad reputation for traffic, and bad public transportation, but if you look past that, you will see amazing tourist attractions, friendly locals, and amazing movies, and theme parks
Los Angeles is such a great place!

Don't talk about your dreams,show your dreams.❤❤
During the summer time, it could be 60 degrees at the coast, and over 100 degrees just 20 miles inland in the valleys and desert. The whole area has differing climate and geographic zones. The mountains are always great to go to also, but I also love the desert landscape.
*BEST city in the world!!!*
I visited Los Angeles 29 years ago, and enjoyed my visit very much 😊
Starting to save up so I can go there next summer! I love LA sooooo much, definitely want it to be the first place i travel to from england!

Such a beautiful city!!! i really wanna visit there
My hometown has everything!
I live in Los Angeles, all I have to say it's one of the best places to live.
For a city that I loathe so much, it's amazing that I actually sat through this entire video. But one thing, Expedia--I'm surprised you never mentioned anything about the sports venues (Dodger Stadium, Staples Center, the L.A. Colosseum, etc.).
"Los- Angeles" is so beautiful. My love & respect to "USA"....
I visited LA last summer for three weeks, now I realize I missed so much! Tons to see and do.
*sigh* Soon LA... I hear you calling me.
Same bruh
Same sis...
As someone who lives in the Los Angeles area, I must say that is one of the better tourist videos I've seen. You did a great highlight of the Getty Museum, yet you showed Malibu and not the Getty Villa, which was actually the original Getty museum, but now houses mainly Roman artifacts, I believe. You could have come into the San Fernando Valley and shown things like the San Fernando Mission and then gone out to Simi Valley and shown the Reagan presidential library. Those are definitely worthwhile if you have the time. Good video though!
Why thank you for saying so. Good suggestions for the San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley - we will definitely keep those in mind for the future. We have some more areas covered by photos than shown in the video but not those! Check it: www.expedia.com/pictures/los-angeles-county/los-angeles.d178280
Don’t forget Yorba Linda with the Nixon presidential library
@@Leg0456 very true. I’ve been there less than the Reagan library because I am in the west San Fernando Valley, of course, closer to Reagan library in Simi Valley, Ventura County. It is about 20 miles each way from here. The Nixon library is about 60 miles each way, but still well worth it. When we go to the Nixon library, On our way back to the San Fernando Valley, we usually include a lunch or dinner stop at the “ mrs. Knott‘s chicken dinner restaurant” at Knott’s Berry Farm.
Haven’t been to the Regan or Nixon libraries, Or the chicken dinner restaurant in about 10 or 15 years now though. I need to do it again!

LA looks like a fun place to visit. Just not sure if I want to live there. The dry air, the pollution, the prices, the wannabe actors. eh. We'll see
I live in LA,here's some pros and cons of this city
Pros
-Wonderful amount of diversity in both people, and attractions
-Great weather that's always perfect to go to the beach,or ride your bike
-Awesome food!!
-Pretty easy to get a job here
-Lots of attractions, such as amusement parks, beaches, and shopping sites
Cons
-Don't expect a lot of white snowy winters,or bright,colorful falls,I know,it sucks
-It gets pretty hot here in the summer
-Hate to say it,but there are a lot of crimes that happen here
Overall,if you want an easy, exciting, and successful life, move here
Julian Ayon Thanks for telling me :D I live in Arizona so the heat probably wouldn't bother me. I don't really miss seasons. I want to leave Arizona for some place more liberal, diverse, and fast paced.
+Zikomo7 I was born and raised in LA and everything you just mentioned is pretty spot but when here you feel like you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. City where dreams come true
+Julian Ayon However, in the mountains like in the Big Bear area, there is snow during the winter season. :)
I live in LA & I'm not impressed with the city. But dry air is THE BEST PART of living in LA!!!
