Here’s why Evil Morty is Evil

- Rick and Morty portrays the Citadel of Ricks in a way that reflects real-world societies, while depicting Evil Morty as a cunning and dangerous populist leader.
🚨 WATCH THE FULL VIDEO HERE: • The Rise of EVIL MORTY...
Those portrayals pose some deeply philosophical and historical questions, such as:
- What makes the Citadel of Ricks susceptible to populism?
- How does Evil Morty’s populism manifest within the existing political structure of the Citadel?
- What real-life leaders might have served as the inspiration for the portrayal of Evil Morty?
This video attempts to answer those questions and more. In the process, we also analyze how power struggles and social hierarchies develop and resolve in the world of Rick and Morty, and how Rick’s inherent rebelliousness becomes manifest.

This is the second video of a new venture: The Invisible Lens, which takes a fresh look at everything from movies to music to sports with an eye toward how political ideas, as expressed in pop culture, can be and are applied in real life.

The central finite curve is also to keep Rick prime trapped so eventually our Rick can find him
Bwahahaha... no
I never thought of this but that's genius
@@coolcaseyc It's literally not genius, because it is not a thing. The central finite curve is only a representation of the Rick's most like the Prime Rick. It has nothing to do with "trapping" anyone because it is not a physical thing.

He's considered a monster. Plus he's a murderer.
@@Frostvul He's no more a murderer than our Rick. Our Rick has destroyed countless citadels, murdered countless Ricks, and murdered those who aren't Ricks. Evil Morty has, (from memory recollection), kept strictly to Ricks and Mortys.
The finite curve was just a means to stabilize travel by means of generating a centralized constant for an origin point, as well as map out the other ricks movements. The messed up stuff the citadel did was to Artificially narrow down difference between the differential Ricks. Because the main Rick is trying to quantify the constant that’s being used by Rick prime. (find the right constant he can truly locate it.)
I will end it with this. What do you think evil Morty used as the constant to establish his own finite curve for travel?
Kinda crazy if you think about. C-137 Rick really changed the state of the multiverse just to find his family’s killer
Ricks are selfish like that
I recently realised that when Rick is wanted from the citadel, in S1, they mention the central finite curve the very first time, amazing cure to detail there

He doesn't just "become an oppressor" though, a recent episode reveals that after a replacement rick for him sends him up an ass apparently several times, he gets tired of it, and wants out. He gets his assigned rick drunk, kills him, puppeteers his corpse, and goes about killing ricks and abducting mortys, downloading minds for their genius and disguising it with eternally tortured mortys, all in an attempt to gain enough genius to leave the finite curve. He runs for office on a whim after seeing the election, using its power to cripple the citadel and fuel his escape into the infinite. It was all to just GTFO away from rick, who had shoved him up a few too many assholes.
He is not morty, he is rick
Which is kinda interesting, when you think about it...the enemy considers him evil because he opposes them, but the allies see him as evil because he basically became the enemy while trying to oppose them
He's got all the freedom, but no one to share it with!
Evil Morty is actually evil because his Rick was an asshole who kept stringing him along for adventures he didn’t want to be a part of, so he gave him alcohol poisoning and fled with his portal gun.

In other words, instead of fighting the system and the finite curve, he became its most capable custodian.
What was evil morty's plan if someone saw the eye wires?
"Oh I'm... eye... wires... Morty?"
So it's Rick prime but Rick prime left his Rick to show others ricks of the powers of portal travel and our Rick goes to Rick prime and finds morty prime and his family takes morty prime as his own morty and then he just starts living with Rick Prime's family. And then kills his family with the chronninbiurg thing but taking Rick Prime's morty
The reason for the central finite curve is because in an infinite amount of parallel universes, rick would never find prime.
However, he IS able to found if you limit the searches by a factor you know he's be a part of, like ones in which rick is the strongest being in the universe, which rick prime is.

Wrong. Evil Morty *is* our C-137 Rick's Morty. The Morty we watch is not of the same world as our Rick, which has been stated and confirmed multiple times.
We watch Prime Morty. The Prime Rick's dimension is the Cronenberged dimension.
The Rick we follow is C-137. Evil Morty original universe has not been stated anywhere.
You clearly take this kind of information from Matpat. Morty Prime is the grandson of Rick that killed the C137 family. Rick started to live with Morty Prime with the hope Rick Prime would come back so he can get his revenge
Evil Morty is not Rick C-137's grandson cause C-137 Morty doesn't exist

Our rick doesnt have a morty because his beth died before giving birth.

1. What is prime Rick and evil rick ?
2. What is evil morty and Prime Morty?
Rick Prime is the rickest rick and Morty Prime is the mortiest morty. Evil Morty is a morty who's driven to escape from the curve, his orignal dimension is redacted.
Evil Rick doesn't exist.

So is Evil Morty and Prime Morty the same person, or, is Prime Morty the Morty Rick hangs around?
I thought I remembered an ep where Rick was hanging around Morty because that was Evil Rick's Morty.
So Evil Rick and Prime Rick are the same, but Evil Morty is NOT Prime Morty, as Prime Morty is the Morty wa all follow and Evil Morty is some other Morty that happens to be exceptional.
This is right, right?
No. Prime Morty is referring to the Morty we follow throughout the show. As Prime Morty is from Rick Prime's Dimension (As he left, so Beth never died). Rick C-137, who we follow in the show, went to that specific universe in hopes that Rick Prime would return, however he grew attatched with Morty. This show is very fucking complicated for no reason
While the central finite curve does keep Rick Prime trapped… he’s still trapped in infinity… which makes him very unlikely to be found. Rick Prime is essentially Moby Dick while Rick C-137 is Captain Ahab chasing the white whale that wronged him.
The chased and the things he does have made him very toxic and lead to him hurting a lot of people and creating an infinite prison…
So, by the way, there are larger and smaller versions of infinity. The set (1, 2, 3, …) is an infinite set of whole positive integers. If you include the set (-1, -2, -3, …) to it then it’s a set of all whole integers which is infinite, but has twice as many integers in it now.
Putting a barrier around every universe where Rick is the smartest man in those universes would still be an infinite number of universes thus making the search very unlikely. Albeit infinitely more likely than without the barrier.
The set of positive and negative integer however have the same cardinality as just the positives , but they correspond to different ordinals , if the collection of all universe were uncountable then the cfc would make sense
Idk about all this but I attribute it to what Rick said when he warned Morty “Watch yourself, it’s not good when a morty gets full of himself”
he is not evil he just got sick of these Rick multiversum and he wanted to escape it...(he made them pay for this trap which was a trap for Rick prime ...)

Morty prime + C137 (our Morty) is the same. Crazy the more that makes sense
Well morty prime is technically our morty as when all the portal travellers are sent back its revealed that the morty we see with c-137 is actually rick primes morty
Okay I understand the first part about the rick hunting down Rick prime, but I still don’t understand the one after that….
I don't think Central Finite Curve was created by our Rick. He helped making the Citadel, but the council and cvc was probably Rick Prime's creation. In the backstory Rick Prime proposed something to Our Rick, but he refused. Which led to the death of Diane and Beth, Our Rick diving deep into revenge, killing rampage. From latest episode, we learned Rick Prime actually killed all Diane's from infinite universe. Citadel and finishing the CVC could've been for trapping Rick Prime inside or outside the curve. Purpose of CVC is to make Rick the smartest being in the known Universe or the trapped Universe. That has Rick Prime handprint all over it.
