Kerala, a state on India's tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It's known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys, and tigers.
Kerala, called Keralam in Malayalam, is a state on the Malabar Coast of India. It was formed on 1 November 1956, following the passage of the States Reorganisation Act, by combining Malayalam-speaking regions of the erstwhile regions of Cochin, Malabar, South Canara, and Travancore. Spread over 38,863 km2 (15,005 sq mi), Kerala is the 21st largest Indian state by area. It is bordered by Karnataka to the north and northeast, Tamil Nadu to the east and south, and the Lakshadweep Sea to the west. With 33 million inhabitants, as per the 2011 census, Kerala is the 13th-largest Indian state by population. It is divided into 14 districts, with the capital being Thiruvananthapuram. Malayalam is the most widely spoken language and is also the official language of the state.
Fort kochi is a charming seaside area, Fort Kochi is known for its Dutch, Portuguese, and British colonial architecture, and elaborate bamboo fishing nets at Fort Kochi Beach. St. Francis Church was the original burial site of explorer Vasco da Gama. Upscale eateries and chic cafes serve Keralan specialities, and quaint shops sell cotton clothing and handmade souvenirs. Heritage buildings house contemporary art galleries.

@@KayandGogo Wonderful. Like you guys, I also enjoyed my short stay in Kerala especially the overnight on traditional Keralan boathouse cruising on the back water and my few nights stay at Leela Kovalam Resort facing the beautiful Arabian Sea. 😀
Sounds so amazing we spent 1 week but we want to return haha we stayed overnight on the houseboat and it was an incredible experience so peaceful.

What kind of salad is that? Only tomato slices? Shouldn't it be mixed with chili, onion, ginger, some herbs, mustard oil , lemon juice n some nuts or chickpea for some crunch? Thats y foreigners think we don't do good salads 😅😂

@@KayandGogo yes, we make our tomato salad that way by using basil or coriander or sawtooth coriander which is in abundance in norttheastern part of india

@@KayandGogo north has great dishes but northeastern food is different. It's an acquired taste dishes because it involves fermented n smoked ingredients ,less spices but more herbs r used n the proteins r mostly pork n beef but of course we eat fish n chicken too.
