Why am I finding it hard to believe that Sonny is okay with Jason not coming back to work for him???? If Jason ends up going back to keep Sam and Danny safe - cool, but he better not go back out of loyalty to Sonny. His loyalty to Sam and Danny trumps Sonny and co. now.
Robin got Sonny to fire Jason after he was shot in 97 and Sony fires Jason when he gets with Courtney. Sonny has no problem letting Jason go.

Well, more than a decade of working together and being in each other's circles, it's not shocking or strange or uncommon that Sonny may rely on Jason just more than most other people because he knows he can depend on Jason and trust Jason more than anyone else. That's gonna be a habit hard for anyone to shake. But as shown before, Sonny has had let Jason go before, even once in the recent years and stating to others that Jason isn't in the business and he's someone that Sonny has to protect now as family. It's hard to believe because writing on this show has always inevitably pushed Jason back to the mob, but if writing this time actually lets Jason focus on this change in him and being a husband and parent, then we won't have any more obstacles and circumstances that pushes him back to the mob.
Sonny never wanted him to work for him in the first place. Sonny has always believed in Jason choosing his own life. He CHOSE to work for Sonny so by choosing that he chose to listen to Sonny and do the work he did. It's different having Jason be back and making his own choices, Sonny respects that.

SaSoon forever!!! God I wish Jason would go back and work for Sonny...Just like old times....the show is a million times better with Jason and Sonny working together! I love Jason with his guns and doing business with Sonny.

except it has made him and sonny and everyone week and boring lol but still loved my GH
I hate how Jason is so much younger than Sonny now. They were ment to be in the same age range. I like this Jason but they real Jason was SO much better. Also even Carly is older than him (or at least looks older than him) when again they were meant to be the same age. See the three of them together is a lil odd now :/ Michael and the new Jason look closer in age.

+hoda jama Wrong, Jason is a lot younger than Sonny. Sonny was in his 30s and Jason late teens in the 90s. Jason use to date Robin remember?!?! They were highschool together in the 90s -with Brenda -who was a lot younger than Sonny too. Sonny is at least 15 years older than all of them. I've been watching since the 70s. ;)

+Jossette Monroe Yes but Steve and Maurice are only 8 years apart so the actors looked like they were in the same age range and Sonny looked more like Jason's older brother. Billy and Maurice are 17 years apart and now Sonny looks more like Jason's father than friend/older brother. Same with Carly and Jason. Laura and Steve are the same age but Laura is 8 years older than Billy so now Carly looks older, more mature when Jason is meant to be the more mature one in their relationship. It's a little thing but it makes their relationships a little odd :/
