- After a 7 month wait, my Cotton Belt GP30 pre-order has arrived! The GP30, along with the other 2nd gen EMD geeps are, probably, my favorite locomotives. I take a look at the Cotton Belt 759 and 754 from Scale Trains.
These are spectacular gp30 models, the level of accurate detail featured on these models is incredible and this is the best gp30 model available in ho scale. I may decide to purchase one of these Scaletrains gp30 models for myself later on once I have my money 💰💰 organized.
I completely agree. Scale Trains did an outstanding job on these models. The GP30 is one of my favorites and it is nice to have a couple of these beautiful models. I think you will enjoy having one.

You really can’t beat Scale Trains. especially the museum quality line.
Their Rivet Counter line is pretty nice as well. If these run as good as they look, I'll be very pleased.

Did you ever fix that windshield wiper on the conductor side of 759? It was bugging me the whole video. 😂
Haha. I haven't fixed it, it's still wonky. All of my effort is going into the layout so the locomotives and rolling stock are as delivered. When I get to the point where I'm ready to do some weathering I'll fix issues like that.
