More snow than usual but it still doesn’t deform when players fall on it.

This game does none of the little things correctly. This is a snow game and there is no proof from falling on the ground or running in it. It’s 2024 and this company is a disgrace to the game of football. Younger people don’t know any different than this product, but true older gamers know this is unacceptable. At least NBA 2k puts in time and effort to improve and change the game and the minor details are there.
This should have been played at Green Bay, it hasn't snowed like this in NYC in well over a decade 😆

If you show me videos with light snow, medium snow, and heavy snow games, then I’ll actually think they took their time with the game. If every snow game look like this, garbage. We use to have all kinds of weather on the game. We even use to have conditions change as the game went on. As this goes back to ps2/xbox over 20 yrs ago. This looks like heaven snow , I see no snow on the steps in stands. I don’t see heat warmers on the sidelines for players, refs with no ski masks, I don’t see any face mask under helmets.
I played a lot of Madden 24. I have also been playing football games since the late 80's from the Atari 600 and arcades to hand held. Been playing Madden since the early part of the 90's. I will say as a Sim, offline, Franchise Gamer. Tiburon is still lacking in presentation. I thought this year they recorded Monday or Sunday night games with real crowd noises. This crowd sounds almost like the past few years. No booing, no ups and downs of the crowd like in real life. Also the Team specific chants are barely in game from what I'm seeing. I only heard the Jets chant once through the video. I'm a Broncos fan and they don't even have the incomplete chant for the last 4 or 5 years. Part of being a Sim Gamer is presentation and atmosphere as well as gameplay. You can't have one without the other. Madden doesn't even have something as simple as Offensive and Defensive line-ups like other sports games. I have to manually before every game look at the team's depth chart prior to every game I play. And the "people" who have direct access to the developers don't ring the bell for presentation. I don't know what's so hard to have in game stat overlays. And giving us that authentic TV presentation we all love. Anyway this game from the presentation standpoint looks very disappointing.
Agreeing with everything you mentioned. Presentation, again, is lackluster. I'll take 2k and The Show presentation, any day.
Where are the cheerleaders, the mascots, the packed sidelines, the crowd cutscenes, the player comparisons, CF25 has them (the cheerleaders look awful imo, but still), so why not Madden? Also, where the hell are the Next Gen stats? EA: one stap forward, ten steps back. Such a shame.
@@SenorFrits exactly. But the people who have access to the devs don't bring this up. It's just like pageantry in the NFL is important like college. It's just presented differently. It's very disappointing to hear in their so-called blog the things they changed. But like you said they take a step forward and then backwards. Like I said something as simple as offensive and defensive line-ups aren't even in the game.
It so much detail missing from this game is mind boggling. Lack of face masks and under armor under helmets , no heat stations on sidelines, players getting tired quicker running in snow, no snow in stands on the steps, the conditions didn’t change on field in 2nd half, camera men in the end zone completely stiff nobody moving. How about field goal team clearing snow out for ball. No scull caps or warm hats for players on sideline. They worry so much on ultimate team they forget the rest of the game.
$100 bucks for snow and unrealistic football gameplay. Yay.
I haven't liked Madden in years, but I'm enjoying 25. Still needs more life, but tackling and stuff feels better IMO
The pass defense is broken as is computer play calling. I hope they fix it because there is so much potential this year for a great game
@@therealist4197 I was wondering why I'm playing on Pro and threw 4 touchdowns lol. I'm bad at passing, hence playing on Pro, but I don't remember Pro being that easy
Everybody also needs to remember, the game literally just got launched Nationwide yesterday. There's gonna be a bunch of updates (small or big) as well as title updates throughout the duration of the one year cycle. I'm not saying the updates are gonna fix everything, but they will address some of the big and small issues. Just so we're clear, however, I AM NOT DEFENDING THE GAME. Just keeping ppl in the know.
The fact that companies have stooped so low that they drop half ass game that has to be updated for fixes and not content. And then they wonder why people pirate and go indie
Thats an excuse 😂😂😂 so you telling me a copy and paste game from last year that had the same issues needs a patch 😂😂😂 this is a horrible excuse when they had all the time in the world to fix madden is just a broken game plan and simple 😂 every year it’s supposed to get better and every year yall make excuses for it

I nvr said it was perfect, but I also nvr said it wasn't broken. As I stated in the past, EA & the NFL don't care. Madden is & always will be a money catcher.

@CPI99 TBH, the companies need to take a year or two off like WWE did and crank out a more than half way decent game. The yearly cycle is nice, yes, but way too restrictive and pressured.
Simply lifeless. So much missing from this game, it's flat sad that people are still willing to spend money on this thing and defend it when there are games better from years earlier on inferior hardware no less.

I’m annoyed by the hate. I know there are a few bugs most people hate have never played and even if they did they come into it with such a bias what’s the point. I still play, been playing every year since my first version on my pc and then genesis a bit later and that’s only cause I was shocked a console could handle it. I’m excited that this version is pointing in the right direction. I wish instead of hating people would see the positives. College football took 3 years with its own team, mainly cause it’s always been this way cause the games do play differently in so many ways. I’m sure most of the hate stems from ea winning exclusive rights but the reason ea won exclusive rights was because 2k decided to release 2k5 at $20. The NFL was pissed and thus they signed an exclusive deal with ea. so blame 2k not ea.

No, I blame EA, and I blame the NFL… For a league that preaches competition they sure eliminated it with Madden…
@@funkyflights It isn't so much preaching competition, the NFL is super strict on what EA can & can't do each year. Don't get me wrong, EA & the NFL are both to blame for the "copy & paste Madden" almost every year. IMO, EA & the NFL will nvr get what fans want or need from their perspective. Besides, the way both companies see it, Madden is a money maker every year, whether we like it or hate it, they don't care bc they know they are gonna make money regardless.
Ridiculous take. Another company comes out with a better product at a better price point so the company that got beat bought the rights so that they didn't have to compete with anybody. Thus, their product sucks today, and people have no faith in them as a result.
Just know there’s a reason NBA live doesn’t exist and it’s not because of an exclusive license or a lower price point from the comp. It’s because EA sucks at making simulation sports titles and can’t compete. If there were no exclusive license there would be no madden, point blank period.

I'm enjoying the game. They made some pretty big improvements. I think the college game may be better but I'm playing this more. As far as the haters I honestly think most people are garbage plain and simple. Constructive criticism is one thing. Knowing what is what is another. Even the hype. I was done with this stuff. Got roped back in. They killed Eddie Van Halen. The would kill me and never realize if you are intelligent and have a heart. It's all pretty phony. Seriously there are so many dumb people out there they don't even know what is what anymore. Fake love. Fake hate. Most people are delusional sociopaths in one way or another.
