I’m still not used to the new timing mechanics on holding the buttons so I play on the classic style. I’ll definitely practice some more of these tips to try and get better because I see how valuable it is to have the different options for placement and throw types. While something in general that you touched on is absolutely have your progression of reads. I like to basically start with here’s my 1 option then 2 and 3 and so on but basically on a really simple level be patient and look for your targets based on who should be open and if the deep target is about to get covered move on and don’t fixate. Taking what a defense gives and moving the sticks is always helpful. Vs then when you do hit the big shit you completely ruin the opponents idea on how to try and stop you.
Thank you, but is there any tip on how to get the quarterbacks set quicker? Or do I just do all this leading after hitting the corresponding receiver button? For example, if I hit a to throw to the A receiver, but I want Pass lead it down do I hit A and then quickly move the stick down the ball has left my hand 🤷♂️
I'm having an issue with the receivers stopping to catch the ball even if I lead them. Any tips on correcting this? Pretty annoying because I can't continue the route through the open space.
For classic passing it is, but for the placement and accuracy passing setting you use L2 or LT to “freeform” which gives you the ability make the ball unreachable by defenders.
All that is well and good, but a bunch of that goes out the window when the AI is just crappy, when they don't drop into their zones and so on and so forth
What's Your Favorite Playbook So Far In Madden 25? 🏈
Dolphins
Packers
I use to run pats up till madden 22 then switched to 9ers and this year back on pats!
the tip at 6:44 is in my opinion the biggest thing i changed. i always used to just pick a receiver and throw it to them, praying they'd catch it lol
Amazing vid man! You just won yourself a subscriber. This is the best passing video I have seen.

The basic concept of reding the defense (typically linebacks and safties) and taking what defense gives you have made the biggest difference for me.
Thank you and those tips about the LB.

Get a better QB. Run deeper routes. Maybe your QB can only throw so far with his THP
I thought L2 was Low pass?
Please advise
