Choi Yoo Jin wanted nothing more than to feel actual love from another. She clung onto any faux, small gestures from her husband, when he put on a show for the public. The only genuine kindness she knew from any man was from K2. Not her father, not her husband, only K2. He may not have loved her in the same way, but he sincerely cared for her in a moment in time. I don't blame her for loving him the way she did... and she truly did love him. More than the closest friendship, more than the a lover could. Almost like a kindred spirit.

Madame Choi really is in pain when she saw Anna 5.15 kisses Je Han. It could have been her lips but sadly, she could hardly confess her love. She only showed it on her actions whenever Je Han is acting to oppose her. She is strong-willed but melted to the charm of the mercenary.
Jay Artanis it was quite painful to see how she is struggling on expressing her real feelings for him and her intentions as well. 😣
To me she also gave the feeling of someone who knows it would have been better to have met him earlier. She liked him, but she wasn't forceful about it.

Je Ha so stupid not to notice her true feeling and think she just did everything for him just to make him her slave.. he does not notice that he is the 1 who turned her to his slave... Madam Choi can't even scold or mad at him when ever he opposed her and choose Anna.

God, she was the heart of the show. Song Yoon Ah slayed. And the character was complex, allowing her to show a lot. Boy, was it great to see an intelligent, powerful, strong woman that still, managed to convey innocence, fear and regret so well.

I really liked the scene where she is getting ready (I think it’s to go see Je Ha) and she is really paying attention to her apparence. This shows just how little attention she needs to become a good person and how close she was to start a new life if she had got the love of Je Ha.
Adèle Zito all she needed was to be given a chance and she found it through Je Ha and I think it was late enough for Je Ha to realize that (when she was dying and Je Ha wanted to save her out of Cloud Nine)

What a powerful love story ! And I don't mean for Anna . This women must be one of Korea s best actresses . Her performance left you with an aching heart . So sad that Je Ha s was so focused and naive that he couldn't see her love and pain . She needed to be acknowledged . Highly recommend viewing . Only negative ....the last series of fight scene s became ridiculous given his condition . You would have to believe he was so pumped with morphine that he no longer felt anything . The director carried it too far .
