The fish at 10 minutes mate was a Tompot Blenny. I couldn’t properly see but the Wrasse that was caught early at Swanage with the tail damage may have been a Baillons Wrasse, as distinct from a Ballon. They are fairly prevalent at Swanage but generally unusual.
@@shakyangler brilliant book. I’ve become a bit of an anorak on a personal species challenge and this book is superb. You find yourself counting rays on the dorsal fin of micro species trying to work out if it’s a reticulated dragonet or a common and so on. 🥹
