My ID 4 mkII does the same and also when you want to turn down the volume suddenly the volume jumps ups even more instead of down. I just updated and is still the same. I will try this cable thing. It might be that the cable supplies too much power

I don’t think the reset was that big of a deal for my use case, Audient makes great interfaces, you should absolutely try
