I’m convinced it’s the browns coaching not the talent
look at the other athletes as well, they cut two clips together which were not of the same exact drill. Prob just a few minutes apart
DrinkingTed3bear it's a different drill look at the other players they all have a narrow base also
The lineman and tight ends have a wider base to simulate blocking while the skill guys and backers have a narrow base to simulate sprinting.
Coleman Performance Systems could be the case but I think it’s more likely that they’re just tired and when you’re tired doing sled drills it’s way easier to tighten your base up. The linemen are probably more used to it so they can go longer with better form.

@@JohnDoe-ob9is Eh.. at those levels it's a lot about who you know and working under someone already in the system. You could have amazing credentials, PhD, publish..and you won't get hired because they head S&C is going to hire Johnny that interned for him when he was the assistant S&C at the collegiate level. I've seen guys that didn't even have a S&C background, they weren't a CSCS, nothing. But they were hired on at a D1 program because they played ball at the program a few years ago.

why are they trying to lift weights fast? my personal trainer always told me to lift weights slow and controlled to get the maximum results. Am i missing something here?
You need to work on technique. They do both.
They're power athletes, they need to produce the most amount of force possible in the shortest amount of time- your trainer is probably focusing you on more bodybuilding or powerlifting type of stuff. For a field athlete their goal is not to be break down muscle to make it grow, its to produce maximum force in a game. Being able to lift a ton of weight is useless for them if they cant do it fast.
Their sport involves short bursts of explosive energy
So their workout also kinda mimics that and they not only lift ridiculous weights they do it quickly and explosively
Personal trainers don't know shit lol. You pay £100, take a two day course and get certified to be a personal trainer. Find someone who has been in the game for years and whom you can see have results
Lifting slowly shows slightly better results for hypertrophy but football players train for strength and explosiveness, lifting at
