I have a question about the aloe vera gel cream. Doesn't it need a preservative due to water in aloe vera gel?
My skin loves hemp seed oil too! I used to use badger brand unscented products and they’d re phenomenal but they stopped making the balm. I realized hemp seed oil is enough for a day and nighttime moisturizer and now I am determined to use it as the simplest oil cleanser ever. Nice to know it works well as a stand alone cleansing oil ingredient! Your cream recipe looks simple and nice. I bet a couple drops of vitamin e oil would be a nice add in. Thanks 🙏

Do you have any idea how to get hemp seed oil stains out? I started using it for skincare but it's stained all fabrics. I was so desperate that I even went to a dry cleaners and they couldn't get it to budge 😭
@@milkteahoneycream really? it never happened to me, maybe use a cloth just for that so you don't mind if it stains!
As for the aloe Vera gel , did you use straight from the plant or did you find a aloe Vera gel in store?

Yeah, sadly most of "eco" skin care routine you won't find good skincare. I mean, lots of skincare mistakes, misinformation etc...
I've been also using the oil celansing method for years now, and I use a small towel wetted in warm water to clean the face after applying the oil. Hope this helps.

I think there is a natural cold pressed oil, do not caused fungal acne ...such as tea tree oil

A standard shelf life is usually about 6 months although it does depend on the product specifically

Yes hemp seed oil needs to be kept in the fridge or it will go rancid
I made a tin of hand and lip butter by using this recipe. But it doesn't stay solid like yours in this video. Maybe it's too hot where I am? (Its 80 F degrees now.
Yes I made this in the winter so I think it's more of a winter-cold weather product. I will post a new summer recipe soon!
For now, just increase the shea butter amount by 2-3 times to solidify it!

Are you oil cleansing every night?
Sometimes I skip it if I am a little lazy lol but most nights I will. I think I will do an updated video soon!

If you use an oil which is suitable for your skin type and low comedogenic it will be ok. Try hemp seed :)
Hello, Ive got acne. And for me pure shea butter is working great! Its not clogging anything and calming your skin. It has so many many many benefits. Maybe you could try that? ☺

is it true that essential oil is not good for skin?
that is not true but they are highly volatile so you do have to know what to use and how to dilute it in a carrier oil with the correct ratios so as to protect your skin.
what do you use for sun protection? normal spf lotion or do you have a zero waste alternative?

@@aizachynalieva2446 sadly, the world is consumed by 'zero waste' and there is really no such thing as long as we are using any container that is not fully biodegradable.
The production of aluminum packaging also consumes large amounts of energy.
Minimalist is one thing but how about going properly pure as well as in this video...that means no chemical sunscreen which is actually harmful to ones skin.

Oil is not a good idea for oily skin!
Actually it is! Do some research and you will discover the internal causes of acne and how we are taught to believe that you should not use rich products on your skin.
Go natural with your products, cleanse your diet, your body (internally) and do not strip your skin of its natural oils.

Hyram's channel is the definition of privileged poor-shaming. He's a brat who has conditioned everyone into thinking that skin care on budget or diy in any capacity is bad, without any concrete scientific data. Which would be fine if he didn't contradict everything he says when it comes to a brand sponsoring him.
For example- he says essential oils are horrible solely because he once rubbed a handful of undiluted tea tree oil all over his face. Which obviously dried the hell out of his skin *shocker*🙄
@@LokeshGarg but actually essential oil didn't really have any benefit when mix into beauty products other than the aroma therapy it gave (after I tried it myself with the tea tree essential oil from doterra for a month)
There are some part of this video that's very nice, but I dun think this is suited for those with oily acne probe skin.
