1st time visiting here. But thank you for this video. Changed the game. I'll click your links to support when I'm ready. I'm happy you posted the multiple steps attempts with the oven. (My greatest fear). What was the final temp and time?
Man Im Happy I watched this video although I missed it when it originally came out...thanks RUclips. Damn Brad I am so proud of you what an awesome job!
The whole time I was like "But, why bother with white on that back? You can't drive around with it." and then you tinted the clear lens and it all made perfect sense. I may or may not have skipped around a bit, so maybe you mentioned it, but I still enjoyed being surprised by the red tint.
my respect for you when you said "We're doing something a little bit different, but kinda the same" went way up! I didn't think you watch berm peak, keep it up!
I didn't you were a mountain bike guy, to drop a berm peak reference! The tail lights look sick, but maybe doing the tint on the inside would have prevented the polishing bit?
Should have put them in the oven at …. 240 … degrees 😂 and side note when painting plastic your best bet is to use a can of adhesion promotor. Plastic has a tendency to not want paint to stick
Good video. Only thing that bugs me, and to give you a word of advice on a few things: Firstly, don't try to bend the plastic covers. In the beginning of your video when you were trying to take the glass covers off, the reason you were chipping and breaking the covers is because you were pulling up on it. Don't do that. Pull along it and try to cut inbetween the glue, dont force the plastic off because its brittle and its gonna break on ya. Secondly, try not to paint besides your car, if youre gonna spray anything out of a can don't have anything nearby you dont mind having flakes later on. All that white paint can easily fly into the air and land on your car and other things. Espically with having that fan blowing, its gonna scatter the paint particles and later on you might notice flakes on your car. (I've learned this second hand from my dad.) Keep your spray painting isolated or do it outside. Keep up the good work! And I think those taillights turned out quite well. Personally I would've skipped on the red tint and kept it clear, but either way it looks pretty epic!
Damn those lights looks so good for a diy job! I tried to do something like this in my Toyota Celica, but just like You I wasted 2 sets of lights, because they used hard silicone glue, not the common soft one which can be heat treated. One day i'll just buy set of aftermarket lights and diy the rings in it, cause this looks so awesome! Stay commited, greetings from Poland!
Look on the bright side you learned something new. . . The way I see things when it comes to anything DIY when I'm modding my car I at least learn something new
Dude, those are some BAWS taillights! I was interested to see where the mod was going but they turned out fire! That sequential takes it to the next level I love it. Keep these vids a comin!!
Lol I remember you asked if I wanted to trade my eBay tails for your stock tails but I was planning on modding mine at the time too. Now my plans have changed and I want to go back to stock 😂 Those turned out sooo good though!
Rather a how to not😂❤️love it
My boi seth
Adhesion promoter! Helps paint stick to plastic. 🤷♂️🤯
absolute beast
Brad looking beefy
Thumbs up for seeing it through
super rad
Looks nice you should shot 2k clear on the red
good to see you posting again :)
1:33 berm peak aka Seth bike hacks!
This was a dope video!!! Maybe instead of the red paint, you can do it again with red tint
SO Seth's bike hacks!!!!!!!
Love these long videos also them lights are drippyyyyyyy
I love to hear that
Not bad, I think I liked the clear lense over the white just a bit better though, mostly because you have white wheels

Heat gun and fishing wire. Far better than an oven
Change the bulb on the signal to led
So nice to see you posting!
ARE THOSE ZIGENS?!? I have those EXACT same wheels on my s13, I absolutely love them. I never see anyone with those!!
I thought that taillight had ya in the first half, not gonna lie
Heat gun is your friend
Skipped a little forward when I started the video and thought this was a cooking video
berm peak refrence
Woot Woot about time!!!!! Keep it up man. Little by little!!
Great vid dude! Keep going 😁
It was a good attempt at least. Why not paint the red lens paint from behind lens vs. Front that way its automatically glossed and no buffing needed?
The dad in me loves Brad's kitchen!
Try adding LED bulbs for the indicators, I think it'll look even better. good job!

I didn’t think that anyone else liked to mountain bike and drive s chassis cars
Add 2k to the lens for a better shine please y'all blow the comment up I know for a fact some 2k would make those headlights even better!!!!!
New brad video let’s goooo
damn i just noticed this was brad from Robbie's channel. brad ur a silly guy
In a good way?
Those taillights looking Mint for diy stuff!
In Germany we would say: "Betriebserlaubnis erloschen".
But in general they look good!👌
Nice work!
I think making them smoked would of looked better, or even using proper red tint rather than the spray can.
There are two inventions tape and a heat gun
New video yessir !!!! 🔥🔥🔥
my respect for you when you said "We're doing something a little bit different, but kinda the same" went way up! I didn't think you watch berm peak, keep it up!

These turned out wicked buddy! 🤙🏻
Amazon link is dead, how big were the halo leds?
What is the size of the led rings?
They came out sick! And awesome edit at the start of the video with the melted centre section 😂
Hell yeah Brad, awesome video those light looks super cool

Night shade black would of been better
Clear coat the lens !!!
Didn’t think of that! Will do!
This was really impressive. Good job man.
such a tedious process. Try, try again until you get it the way you want it. Glad you stuck with your vision, these look super dope!
Hey man, this video was actually super fun to watch even though you think it was long I've still enjoyed it.
Awesome video!!!
Those DIY lights are incredible!!!
Such a positive attitude and great handy work!!! I really really enjoy your videos!!!

oh and another small thing, you could've easily took off that hot glue on your brake light lids with some isoprophal alcohol.

Bradley
They look good! Love these type of videos where you customize parts of ur car to ur own taste instead of just bolting it on
Dude, those are some BAWS taillights! I was interested to see where the mod was going but they turned out fire! That sequential takes it to the next level I love it. Keep these vids a comin!!
Lmao, damn I woulda been pissed when I melted that. Looks good, hope the paint will last, with the heat from the light bulbs
Y spray the light and not just use a color tint wouldn’t that be even better lol
Lol I remember you asked if I wanted to trade my eBay tails for your stock tails but I was planning on modding mine at the time too. Now my plans have changed and I want to go back to stock 😂 Those turned out sooo good though!
Suppp
you shouldnt have painted the reflectors, your lights when you brake wont be as bright
The fact that these taillights used sealant instead of being plastic welded is such a blessing
Brad: "heat is your friend"
Taillights: *"Well..."*
😎👌
lol they look bad
