"COOL FOR THE SUMMER" PERFORMANCE NOTES:
A great example of a high energy and fun song to play if you love driving electric guitar with overdrive!
I love hearing pop artists using the electric guitar in unique and creative ways. The main riff in this song is incredibly creative and bold. Obviously, affected with the use of "modern" electronic techniques this riff is therefore NOT easy to play when attempting to mimic the sounds on the recording. Go for it anyway!
Demi Lovato gets my support on this track as I love the back and forth between beautiful melodic vocals and the more energetic and edgy chorus excursions. The rocket vocal blast she gets out before the last chorus in something to behold for sure.
Take you time as always on this and learn all three sections. If you wish learn the piano riff also.

mαrk jєffєrч cαmpαчnσ I got the idea for it when she was on Beat100. I've done a few of those kind of videos in hopes to get a little more noticed and get closer to the climbers here. Like if I could did one for Ivana and she loved it so much that she just shared it all over and it could help me to get out of this welfare state. I figured that if anyone at the bottom could do it, I can. Unfortunately, most of the time it doesn't work no matter how much effort I put into it. For the most part, I find that most women like me for my wit but the fans of my actual music are the bros.

They'll usually thank me but the interest in sharing them or actually watching my stuff isn't there even though they're all subbed to me. I've rarely experience a woman who takes the kind of interest in my music like the bros do. Most of the bros who comment on my stuff usually are amazed but what I do and if I did one for her, I'd get praised for it but she would most likely say "Thanks Steve, that was great... love Ivana.
