A great pop/rock song for sure, "She's Kinda Hot" is a throwback musically to a simpler time when guitar riffs were straight ahead and unashamedly repetitive and rather basic. However, in this basic form there is still a lot of fire and brimstone that can be unleashed.
I have included only the introduction in this tutorial. Part two will deal with the electric guitar parts in full. I ended with the inital entrance of the electric guitar and will pick up from there.
Be careful with the main riff as it will sting you if you do not concentrate while playing it. Decide for yourself which left-hand fingering to use. I use my index and pinky as the lead fingers in the left hand. It works for me. If you wish to use either the 2-4 combo or even 1-3 it matters not as long as you can control the strings.
