I think you should continue your podcast regardless of having a budget review. Your podcast can be current topics, investing, money management, the lessons you've learned, etc.. IMO I think you should keep the podcast going.
Or offer to do podcasts with other creators who have had a financial success story like you! You don't have to keep them to budget reviews and coaching. That can be once a month and the rest of the weeks can still showcase your business but include other personal finance related things. 🙂

I would love to do the free coaching, but one of the requirements is you have to have debt. I'm debt free.

Your podcast is great and I hope you can find a way to continue it even if you have to modify it to fit your needs/wants. I love your story and I think you’re very inspirational, knowledgeable.

When we hit our FIRE number in 5 years at 46/50, we plan on also quitting our jobs and pursing something of passion or even a part/seasonal gig. We don’t hate our jobs, we definitely don’t love it, but it is well paid & does help us achieve our goal which we do love. Once we leave the rat race, we want to make sure we never have to go back.

“He’s cheap” 😂😂😂😂 I would’ve loved to seen you walk in and say that to him and see what his response would’ve been. In his mind is he cheap or frugal?

    I could never work a 9 to 5 again either I’m glad I’m self-employed

I've been self employed/semi retired for 5 years now. I left public school teaching after 26 years. I do 'work' about 12 hours a week, sometimes more if I have big travels on the calendar as I have a serious travel habit 😂. I'm totally debt free, including mortgage, and have been since my mid 40's, I'm 53 now. Remaining debt free is the key to financial independence. Should my circumstances change, I'd choose living off a tiny bit of money over returning to teaching full time. Keep doing what you're doing. Stay out of debt, budget and invest as possible. Enjoy your success and freedom!

I think it would be cool to have fellow (non professional) budget nerds on your podcast sometimes. Wouldn't it be fun to see different people's budgets and compare notes and learn from each other? I had a friend who showed me her stuff 5 years ago and that's what sparked me to start consuming content like yours, pay 60k of debt, and become a dedicated saver/ investor.

It would be pretty cool to have general money advice podcast episodes. I would love to go on, but I live in the UK, it would be cool if you one day you also accept UK clients, as I remember you did an episode ages ago with a lady from the UK and that was pretty interesting! Although pensions is different, the debt, investment and budget side is pretty universal :)

Like someone else said, continue the podcast regardless and just mix in coaching between money lessons/ tips. As you get more followers not everyone will go back too far so it’s good to hit the basics or even just do this a Q&A style format. That’s basically what the Money Guys does, episodes of Q&A mixed with episodes of info on one topic, so you know it’s a workable model. Just don’t give up ❤

IMO, we have to split savings, maybe two/ three HYSAs. one to save up for 6 to 12 months only if you lost your job / one hysa only for any unpredicted medical expense that believe it or not it will happen to almost all of us, and the third one to save for an apartment( house or whatever) downpayment, after we loaded all up enough , then start enjoying extra cash, these are all after retirements investment in fact.

Hey Leila, I love watching your journey and new ventures. Continue to be GREAT. :) I would like to know what camera you use; I'm interested in vlogging. Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! For most of my videos on this channel I use the Canon EOS50. For vlogging I use the Sony ZV-1F which I really like because of it's size!
