For coding interviews I have two tips. 1. Focus on The basics, data structures and object oriented programming. 2. If you're ever stuck... Throw a hashmap to it. Great video!!
I think a lot of the tips you give at the end apply to any type of interview, not only tech! I definitely find that prospective employers are less concerned with the specifics of what you say than your overall approach and attitude to a problem. Great job explaining :)
Wondering if you c(sh)ould do a then and now analysis video, reflecting on how you've got better at finding (understanding) solutions to problems that previously challenged you during the interview.
I believe you can pick a language of your choice, for the coding interview so pick the one you are most comfortable with, the problems will be quite rough.
If you're allowed to say, can you tell what salary range is offered? Also does the salary here in UK include stock + bonus which I see people talk about for similar jobs in US?
I love this question, definitely YES! I do have work colleagues that don't have a college degree. The important thing is to have the skills, not where you take them from, everyone's journey is different :)
