PLEASE will you start selling leather insoles!? Just a slab of leather a little bit wider than the ones Nick’s sells. So we can trim to fit.

You are just so awesome. You've really given me a DEEP respect for smaller makers and that the extra money is SO worth it (to them as well as for the quality we get from it) please keep letting us know about these great manufactures

10:35 funny enough its the other way around. stitchdown is more flexible than blake stitch! infact in german stitchdown is called "flexibel genäht" (stitched flexibly). blake can be rather stiff(without having superior durability) and the actual main reason its used in lighter constructions is because it looks more elegant and is probably a bit less laborious. stitchdown is often used on these heavier boots which is why one could think its the more rigid one.

It'd be awesome if you sold the boot breaker and maybe a normal leather insole that fit inside the Jim Green Barefoot boot you helped design.

I would be super interested in your opinion on the brand unmarked, they are made in mexico and from what ive seen they are swinging way above their weight class in terms of quality of craftsmanship.
Love the content keep it up!

12:00 looks like the lacing panel is too far forward and too far on top. its directly above the ball of your foot so it digs into the creasing of the flex zone there. especially on a derby pattern, the front of that panel (vamp point) should always be behind the ball line of the foot, so it doesnt interfere with the flexing at all!

I have the Origin work boot and i love them. I've been wearing the Danner Super Rain Forest for almost 20 years and the Fort Lewis boot for another 10 plus years before that (when i was a Marine a long time ago, the Ft. Lewis boot was THE boot for cold, crappy weather). I am a land surveyor in NE Oregon and work in rough terrain in terrible conditions. If Origin made this in an 8", i would look at it as the jungle boot that the Corps issued me, only better made. I would get a pair for summer boots. Until then, my summer boots are the Origin 8" work boot and my winter boots are the the Danner Super Rain Forest insulated.

Yeah that fabric lining around the heel is gonna get shredded. The lack of an internal counter cover is a deal breaker.

I bought the Origin Built Boot in 9 wide, my normal street shoe size. On JK measurements I'm actually a 8.5 EEE. Whites Perry I have 8.5 EE, and I'm locked in, would actually prefer wider, but they don't make EEE.
The Origin Built boots feel way too big. Nice and wide, but too long and there's nothing inside (like Whites) that locks my foot into place and the sole is too flexible. They look great, but feel terrible. Tried the Coronado og in same size and they felt tight.
Hopefully they figure out how to make boots someday soon because I do appreciate their ethics/vision, but my experience was a major waste of money.

If hunting was truly mano a mano....man out there, with what god gave you, up agaist the animal....NOW you get respect. Shooting an animal, hidden in the distace, c'mon.....weak sauce. You're a punk if you sucker punch another person.....but you sucker punch an animel, thats cool? They shoukd say OK you wanna hunt, we'll give ya a knife but you gotta square up with the beast and then go at it.

You're simply uninformed. The sale of licenses and tags brings in loads of money for habitat conservation. Wildlife biologists make informed decisions on how many animals can be harvested to maintain stable populations. Wild meat is among the most nutrient dense and healthy foods that you could consume. Hunters are continuing a tradition as old as our species, and to me, it feels damn good to avoid supporting the disgusting, inhumane industrial meat corporations. Your mileage may vary.
