- Circa 2017 (most likely september). You can see the inside of the River City Cycles Little Rock, me picking a scooter in a showroom and going to Jacksonville location to do some repairs.
Old school, no internet on the phone, no GPS, only a printout of Google Directions.
Mostly nostalgic video.
Oh yeah, that Honda Met had a Bob Marley sticker in the front and I def felt the vibe.
The best memories of my life was when I took a trip from zLubbock, Tx. To Baja California. Highway 1 was still complete so I went up Highway 1 to the Oregon border, back down to Route 66 to Amarillo, Tx. And finished back in Lubbock. The trip took three weeks. Back then I slept on picnic tables at the rest stops most of the time. My bike was a Suzuki GT380, it was brand new. Maybe had 200 miles on it when I started. I would give anything to have had a video of that trip.
That sounds like total fun!
My 2005 Metropolitan that I bought new from Honda dealer currently has 67,566 miles.
Wow
I love how you ride!!!! That scooter looks easier and more nimble than the one I'm currently riding. Love it
Thank you
Nowaday's 50 cc scooter technology is enough suffucient and developed to offer a pleasant experience in the city and suburban.
Right. Sometimes even inter-state
I own 3 bikes one of which is a metro and I would not want to ride this far on it but I would if I had to! But I’m older so it hurts my back more when your young you can go all day and night on one I used to! I was doing enduro by 14.
Printed map and a 49cc bike, love it.
Gotta do what I gotta do
Google says this is a 15.5 mile ride.
Greetings from Southern California. Nice ride.✌️When I had a Metropolitan, I rode it everywhere. What route did you take?
Thank you, just a closest route avoiding interstate highway
Seems like it goes up hills pretty well.
Couldn't complain
😅 I like the Russian cussing and horn honking😂
Hahaha you can take me out of Russia but you cant take Russia out of me
What do you weight?? How tall are you ??
Im 280 pounds. I cant get my '24 metropolitan over 35 MPH
What are they talking about here? Riding from little Rock Arkansas to Jacksonville Florida? 🤷♂️
To Jacksonville Arkansas
Well that was just click bait. There isn’t a person that watches this that doesn’t think Jacksonville, Florida. You should be ashamed of yourself.
@@dennisconrad6124 Can you read English or you are naturally 'special'? What header says? 🤣
Jacksonville fl 😮?
I’m Arkansas, is it legal to ride the Metropolitan on highways with a speed limit of 45mph?
Yes
i love metropolitans . i miss my 2008 . i now have a chiness bike colman 2018 50cc . not bad for a chiness bike . still rather have something made from japan .there better .
I’m sorry I got dizzy after I watched your video after 2 minutes
I am sorry for your experience, but I recommend to strengthen your vestibular apparatus!
Is it Little Rock Arkansas?😮
Yes it is
@@IvanBobrov09001I'm in South AR!
just wondering how many miles was it up and back
about 30 miles one way
Get yourself a pair of riding gloves and wear them. When you go down your natural instinct is to catch yourself, and at that point your hands become road crayons. I have seen the results twice and it is not pretty.
Yes I am wearing gloves everyday now. Check my other videos. Cheers ;)
Living in the same state I see
Not anymore...
This almost full throttle speed doesn't damages the engine?
Going full throttle for this long won't hurt the Honda engines. Honda designed these little things with an extra rich intake so they won't stick.
I think you should have been in the right lane not the left fast lane
What is your top speed in this?
That’s what I’m wondering cuz it seems pretty fast
Ok I just watched the video, seems like it’s going about 40 mph max. Hope this helps
40 mph downhill
