We saw your truck in Todos Santos around New Years. We found a couple of free boondocking spots near Cerritos. Watching the whales jump, watching the surfers and the sunsets were our favorites. Enjoy!
Good thing ULSD is down there. It took awhile as Pemex didn't have the refining capability for quite awhile and we supplied it. I just sold my 2007 Ram Cummins 5.9, G-56 with a Northstar popup. 33 Baja trips. I'm 75 and had to call it quits after 60 yrs down there.
06:05 The California coastal resort of Santa Cruz lost sections of the pier, too! These are exciting times... . [edited to add] Authorities-n-Officials deemed the remaining uncollapsed Santa Cruz wharf is perfectly safe for tourists (they say that from their bureaucracy in Sacramento, a hundred miles away).
13:28 We owned a restaurant business for ten years. Try loosening your frittata with a flat-nose steel spatula, then lay a plate across the skillet. Invert as a unit. With enough grease, it ought to fall right onto the plate. . And, since you are south of the border, experiment with using an 'el plato'...
I’ve found with eggs + cast iron blending some cottage cheese in with the eggs helps them lift off the pan better. Also tastes amazing, makes the eggs super fluffy, and adds more protein! 🎉
Bummer we missed seeing y’all in Todos. We’ll predominately be in this area all winter but hopefully we’ll run into you guys. Are you going to the vanlife event in early Feb?
@@thecumminscamper We'll be back in and around Todos for sure! Will definitely say hi if we see yas! Not 100% on the Vanlife Event just yet, but we'll see!
Thanks so much for watching. You can absolutely do Baja at the young age of 65. There are lots of RVers down here that are retired and exploring Baja. Many of the seniors only go as far as the Bay of Conception and then stay there all winter. It’s interesting though, most seniors that are down here are from British Columbia. People seem to travel due south vs south East or south west. Not many older folks from the east coast of the USA down here.
Hello and happy new year to the both of you. So watching your video this morning, and heard you mention Destnation Adventure. I can understand why you are trying to learn from him. However don’t sell your self short. I look forward to y’all’s videos you have your own style and it’s good. Keep on trucking E & M R
Oh man that’s a tough one! The food, the cost of living, the beaches, the people, the weather and the fact that so many more places are accepting of RVers than in America. You’re unlikely to get “the knock” down here
It’s definitely not a place I’d want to live in the summer in my RV. Too hot and humid. Think Florida type weather in the summer. Could/would I live hear year round if I had a house with AC? Yes. Many Canadian/American travelers will house sit here in the summer. Get free accommodations so that the home owners don’t have to worry about property theft. Do I feel safe: absolutely. Safer here than in the USA for sure. I also play by the unwritten rules down here. Don’t drive at night, don’t go off the beaten path, don’t get involved in the underground businesses here and if an area is a “no no” for sleeping or parking, just don’t stay there. It’s the easiest and safest place for nomads that I’ve found yet. Thankfully people are too intimidated to come down here in masses but slowly Americans and Canadians are discovering this place as the next California for development
I use a DJI Mav Mini 4 Pro. It’s an awesome drone! I love the videos it captures. I like it so much I might get DJIs Osmo Gimble camera when I get back to the US. Thanks for watching!
Happy New Year to both of you! That fan was for keeping flies away. They're really common at restaurants down here. Im surprised we don't use them back in the states but they'd be great for camping
You’re very correct. I got my piers confused. Thanks for the info! I don’t know if I can edit in a little correction text or not but I appreciate the correction
Normally I use egg whites in my protein shakes. I don’t know why Marisa thought I needed 3 cartons of egg whites but because of the surplus of them around, I used them for my eggs. Normally I would never do this. I’d always have whole eggs. I’m a big fan of the flavor and benefits of the yolk.
Looks like you guys are having a great time in Baja. Can’t wait to see what property you buy down there😁
Thanks y’all! We’re excited to own a little slice down here.

Good advice on the frittata and plate over the skillet! Ill remember that for next time. Super smart!

That’s a great idea! I’ll totally give that a shot. I’m all about adding more protein to my protein! Thanks for commenting and watching
Another great one. Merry Christmas to you both. Living our dream!!!! Safe Travels 😊
Thanks bud! Can’t wait to see the new campers renovation! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you guys as well
Los Barriles, El Cardonal, and Boca de álamo have free beach camping
Thanks for the tips! We’ll be headed to the east cape of Baja at some point this winter to enjoy the free camping
Excellent video!!
Thank you so much for watching! Super glad you enjoyed it.
Happy New Years guys stay safe
Happy New Year to you too! Thanks for the well wishes and for watching!
We were in Todos last week! In San Jose area now, maybe we’ll see yas out there🤠🙌🏼

Just wondering, are there senior RVers?

Thanks Russ! Greatly appreciate the kind words and that you enjoy our style of content. I’m often my own biggest critic. Hope you have a great week!
Great video dude! What brand are those camp chairs?
Thanks brotha man! They’re from Cliq. They’re super easy to set up, nice and small and most importantly, very comfortable.
more Baja please
Let's go----
Thanks Jim!!!
@@thecumminscamper Eric it was the Santa Cruz pier that collapsed, Santa Monica pier is just fine.
@ thanks dude! I’ll see if I can add a correction into the video
What do you enjoy doing the most while traveling in Baja? I've never been to that side of Mexico.
Oh man that’s a tough one! The food, the cost of living, the beaches, the people, the weather and the fact that so many more places are accepting of RVers than in America. You’re unlikely to get “the knock” down here
@thecumminscamper well that is a convincing statement. Is it just too hot to stay year round? And do you feel pretty safe?
It’s definitely not a place I’d want to live in the summer in my RV. Too hot and humid. Think Florida type weather in the summer. Could/would I live hear year round if I had a house with AC? Yes.

The Baja peninsula is 760 miles!🤡👍
Thanks for correcting me. Love your attitude. So fierce, so feisty
