Broooo this helped me out soo much. Man... I was going nuts trying to figure this thing out. Thanks alot man. You're explained this soo perfectly. You're a cool guy.
Great content Jeff, I seem to always find myself back to your channel when looking for insight on various topics. I do have a couple questions about online coaching specifically. 1. Does an online coach have their clients sign Informed Consent/Waiver of Liability? 2. What kind of forms would you recommend an online coach send to their clients? Thank you in advance for your help!
Thanks for coming back to the channel! Glad you find it helpful! Yes! Informed consent, health history, par-q. We have them sign all the forms they would sign in person. In terms of your second question, are you referring back to those types of forms or other forms? We also send clients a weekly check-in form, a getting to know you form, nutrition information
For the second question I was referring to additional forms like the ones you mentioned. I appreciate the swift response and your help!@@SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
Honestly, it's better to go the in person route with certifications and if you get lucky to have the leisure time, you can do online coaching as a side hustle. When you have your own business, your job is more difficult due to having to constantly market and sale yourself. You have to be very persistent with landing new clients every week on your own dime. You'll be competing with everyone trying to sell their courses/packages on social media and clients quit or change their mind quickly.
I found the most amazing trainer but now he's moving to another country 😭😭😭 He's giving me the option of virtual training but I prefer in person, what should I do?
As a startup in online business even though I’m experienced working in fitness martialarts gyms how much should I charge for virtual training person I. Person
Pricing is going to depend on a lot of factors including expertise, location, duration of the session, equipment, what’s included, etc. The same goes for in-person and virtual training, to some extent. I would say a good “average” is about $1/minute for training.
Truly inspiring! you're one of the calisthenics athletes don't got me interested into doing calisthenics. I started last year and never want to stop. #monkeybargym
I think they could! They would just require a plan tailored to what they have going on. I think it’s a little bit harder for older clients to get into online training because of the technological barriers but it’s definitely possible! I have a few older clients who do very well with virtual training.
This is a poor explanation of online coaching. Ive been personal training for 25 years. Ive been 100% online now for 4 years. I do not do the “virtual training” like you say but my customize workout and nutrition programs are much more detailed with workout apps with videos Macro meal plans making sure my clients are changing visually every 7 days. It’s actually way to hard to express in a message. I am going to make my own video about it this week. But my online clients have a extremely higher rate of success and progress then my in person clients ever did even the 5 days per week clients The reason is my constant diet manipulation as their body composition would change. Whenever I trained in person one on one I did not have this time to go into it with each client looking at pics and measurements and continually manipulating their diet and cardio. I only had time to train people back to back go home sleep and come back the next day.

He's giving me the option of virtual training but I prefer in person, what should I do?
I’d try the virtual with the trainer you like! Maybe, just do a smaller commitment at first to see if the virtual thing works for you at first though.

And you can do both?🤔…is it possible?
Absolutely! Many online coaches do a bit of both

Thank you! Calisthenics are awesome btw!
Could seniors and people with chronic conditions do well with online personal training?

Agree. Peace love and respect to the guys who made this video but I'm not sure they fully understood what they were talking about.
