    Ridiculous. "Hip dips," are caused by normal female anatomy. Not everyone will have pronounced "dips," but the anatomy is there and not something we need to treat as a problem.

Hence why she said “Try this” and not “From now on do this for the rest of your life”. You can wear whatever you want but not all clothing is going to suit you.

    "Hip dips" are your bone structure, though they can be more pronouced when you have more fat around your waist. They aren't something that needs to be hidden, and if you don't like them losing weight can make them less pronounced but again, they're the shape of your hip bones so you will always have them

    • @nono-fb8tr
      @nono-fb8tr Год назад

      They are more pronounced because of the opposite, more fat in the thighs. Your waist goes to your hips and the "dips" are the area between your hips and your thighs. Your waist doesn't affect how the "dips" look at all.

    • @perregrine
      @perregrine Год назад +1

      Emotions like shame happen when our beliefs don't match our environment and help us reconsider our beliefs and actions in response to new information. Sometimes it's unintentional, sometimes it's malicious and sometimes it's because that person is realising that their actions and/or beliefs are resulting in harm.
      The lesson in the comments for the creator is don't publicly affirm low self-esteem by hiding targets of insecurities. Providing this kind of solution fails to properly address what is an aspect of mental health. The aesthetic industry's most profitable invention is the idea that your body needs to be hidden or fixed with the products and services they are selling. This creator is earning money by perpetuating the belief that basic anatomy is shameful and providing advice that sustains shame. Profiting from manufactured self-hatred is wrong. People responded like they were hurt because this is hurtful and should be challenged.
      The lesson for people who ask for help is actually understand the source of your problem and seek a sustainable solution from an appropriate source. Quick fixes don't work for deeper issues like negative self-image. Clothing can boost self-esteem as a form of self-care and self-expression but hiding triggers like your own body is not an effective or long-term solution for any upsetting belief. The clothes have to come off at some point and the problem will still be there and may even be worse because conditional self-esteem does not build unconditional resilience.
      This is the culture many of us were raised in. People rarely question their beliefs without information that challenges assumptions. If devaluing harmful beliefs results in shame for people, hopefully that leads to personal growth. They'll experience a lot less shame overall if they foster realistic expectations.

    I don’t understand the hate… HiP dIpS aRe NoRmALlll. Yeah a lot of what we’re born with is normal. Doesn’t mean we should stop wanting to improve ourselves and find tips to build our confidence. I have hip dips. I wouldn’t say I’m insecure about them, but I do look better and feel more confident wearing wide leg pants. I also find bodycon dresses and skinny pants too constricting for me. If you love your hip dips, go ahead and show them off, but don’t put others down for wanting to hide them.

    Honestly Imo if you have hip dips wear tight clothing if you like it.
    It honestly looks gorgeous on y'all.
    Everyone has different opinions on clothing overall but,don't let them shame you for wearing what you like, set the trend. ❤

    no hate but rather than telling girls what to and to not wear, just let them embrace their insecurities because they are beautiful and show your uniqueness! again, no hate to the creator, i know she’s trying to help our confidence, but something we need to realize is that our beauty is everywhere. here’s some advice: if you are ever afraid to go out wearing something because “it doesn’t look flattering on you,” just remember, no one is gonna look at you and laugh because they are all to worried about how they look. just be confident in whatever you wear because no matter what you or others think, you are so beautiful 💗

    hip dips are common. everyone has it. don't be embarrassed to show it. wear whatever you wanna wear. what you see in model shoots they're either wearing hip pads or the posture is hiding it.

    Basically your giving ideas of how to cover them and be embaressed of them instead of learning how to embrace them .everyone can Wear these dresses not bcs WE're trying to fit in those unrealstic things society created for women
