Not enough to base on mech rank, this would only change tanking from "one strong mech in junk hangar" to "five junk 2* mechs with legendary max weapons and pilots". New players will get massacred just the same. If you limit matchmaking to equivalent mech AND weapon you narrow down human matchmaking and fight more bots. It's not an easy problem to solve tomorrow.
lol..yes it is...you take baby steps, u fix the major problem asap then tweak..its quite simple actually. theres never just one element in matching in any online game. They have done it wrong..theres really no argument to that lol..im sure u agree. Its alot easier to adjust MM when you start from a point of logic and common sense. What will happen, regarding bots..in time more players would be playing the game and not quitting once they hit 2-3k hangars. The game will be healthier and have more players if the game is fixed. In the meantime, Plarium can enjoy laughable revenue while scratching their heads where they went wrong.
Or maybe use the other half of your brain and even out your weapon ranks? It is your proposed idea of “balance” but with weapons. I have 3-4 star mechs and go against maxed 6 star mechs all the time. Easy kills every time. Except the purple stars, they are much more difficult. You have to realize that mechs aren’t key, weapons are. Once you master certain weapon niches the mechs star ranks become irrelevant. They already know this at Plarium and did accordingly.
uh? again, if u have 4 star mechs, you should be fighting other 4 star mechs lol..once u are matched to higher ranked mechs your at huge disadvantage due to more hp, higher energy variant wpns etc...but thanks for replying i guess lol..so if you wanna exploit with a 6 star mech, you cant cause, your gonna be matched with 6 star hangars..not 4 star hangars lmao
