Alexis, your warm smile, calm demeanor, font of knowledge, candor about mistakes, modesty about your artistic and technical acumen, and openness to new ideas separates your channel from all the others. Thank you for breaking through all the chaff on RUclips with genuineness and a love for teaching and photography. Congratulations on 10k! You got there by being yourself, so keep the videos coming, but don't change your style. I love your work! (and so do 10.5k other people) Bravo!
Congratulations 🎉!!! Love, love, love your photos!! I know the hard work that goes into this (from shooting to editing and everything in between) and I'm impressed. Keep doing what you do as you are inspiring others.
Many congratulations my friend. To think I provided any inspiration to you is a great honour. I thank you deeply for mentioning that. Keep up the amazing work. 🙏
That’s so fun about the Jagged Ambush bug. Here in southeast Pa we have tons of them. I’ve shot thousands of images of them this summer and it never gets old. They’re so cool. And they mostly sit still😁
Congratulations, absolutely deserved. Your pictures have incredible quality and stunning composition. I love your videos and you have inspired me to start macro photography myself.
Yay, congrats on the milestone ! I love seeing your shots and your channel definitely inspired me to eventually (soon rather than late) invest in a macro lens. I am actually considering selling my ultra-wide to buy a macro, since i've always loved "macro" shots but so far i've only been able to use my zoom lenses as a pseudo-macro with a lot of cropping... And the ultra-wide is actually a very rarely used lens in the end of the day.
You've inspired me to dive into macro photography! I recently bought a macro lens and a flash, and now I find myself crouching on the ground to capture amazing shots of tiny creatures. Keep up the great work!
Congrats on reaching 10k followers, Alexis. Well deserved! I'm proud of you and excited to see many more videos from you, especially on macro and maybe even micro photography.
Congratulations on reaching 10k, well deserved. It would be fitting now to get some offers to go to some of the places you mentioned to further your macro adventure.
Excellent. Thank you for this! Tiger beetles sure are challenging. Warm but cloudy days help (they are active but not too active), and also have a partner who sort of herds the subject toward you. They forget you are there pretty quickly.
Firstly CONGRATULATIONS!!! afterwards, I admit that it is with passion that I can't wait to see your way of taking, and well its your editing work But before that, simply the pleasure of following you from the beginning and of continuing to follow you This afternoon, I just caught a jumping spider at S24u, but hey it's only 1/2mm! a nano-jumper And I'm proud of it but not as beautiful as you in stacking, that's for sure!! Thanks for all your advice and sharing
10k, congratulations! As far as workflow, why edit one image in a stack, apply edits to the rest, then process the stack? Why not process the stack, then edit the final image? Seems like less work.
if somebody, lets say a subscriber, gives you a computer with a decent RTX3080 to work with 4k videos. would you finally stop uploading in 1080p so we can enjoy those high resolution photos in 4k? 😅 😜
I cannot express in words how much I appreciate your channel.
Congratulations on the 10K. I'm surprised that you do not have a lot more subscribers because I find your photographs absolutely fascinating.

You deserve it
Jagged Ambush bugs are my fave.
10k, congratulations!

It's always worth doing basic edits before stacking because you lose some dynamic/color range when running the files through stacking software.
Great content, I can't get detail in my shots
