There are some small tweaks to your gameplay that would vastly improve your survival rate: 1. Know thine enemy - Do the math and calculate the value of your potential drop to gankers, set that against the cost of ganking you. If it is in favour of the gankers.. then you are a target. Increasing tank will increase the cost to gank you. Watch their zkillboards, see where they are active. 2. When docking at a station, especially a trade hub use insta-dock bookmarks. Never just warp to station because you will never land at zero. 3. Use an alt scout to jump ahead of your route and with practice you will see a trap before you run into it. A bumping macheriel on the gate? Dock up and wait.
All good points and tips, I definitely have taken some steps myself, the main one being, I've no real need for a Freighter, as of right now, so one has been sold, the other in storage. I do also, have a scout alt in certain systems. Thanks for the tips!
Haha bruh. Yup the classic gank. Tales of loss are always interesting. Gave me an idea for a collaboration though! I take it you know about using an alt to make the frightens insta warp using webs right ? Be a cool video to work on together.
Its truly incredible how fast you get ganked when you go afk lol. Ive watched a system for hours and see nothing than afk to the bathroom for 30 seconds and boom dead

I'm definitely do for a collab!
I wouldnt even take an empty freighter with bulkheads through uedama >_
you should see what people take through abhazon
I learnt my lesson haha
@@MyKharli Abhazon is a big no no for me!
Agreed, I've been ganked in Uedama even completely empty. Freighters are just too vulnerable, too easy to gank as long as you got the numbers.
Better to pay Red Frog or another hauling corp to do the work and take the risk.
Can you raise the audio volume? It's a bit low.
Will be sorted for next time!
Wormholes are so much safer and faster than highsec death trap systems.
Wormholes still have an element of fear for me haha
@@Expedishun They're not as scary as Uedama. :)
Thanks for sharing, Im sure many of us can relate to doing this sort of thing. You know you shouldnt but you do...
It's always a bad idea, but we never stop!
I've run courier missions when I was a young player, but these days I rather pay others for that and let them take the risk. At least freighter wise.
Yea, definitely freighter work isn't for me anymore.

I could spend hours staring at my screen with nothing, as soon as I look away, done in seconds
When Im hauling more than 2b I always have an alt scout/cyno ahead
I would do the same, but at this point, there's no need for me to do it, so I have my scouts planted in certain systems now
Hey i love the video. I would greatly appreciate if you could enhance your audio quality in the future. Cheers
Apologies, I tried something different here and it didn't work, so back to usual for next video onwards
