The secret character isn't anyone from Super or Daima, since they obviously have their own dlc packs. It's most likely going to be one of the Game Original characters like Android 21 or Shallot.

Sparking Zero doesn't have a what if creator, it has a mode where players can create battle and conditions and share them online.
People are setting themselves up for disappointment...

@@Xeno_Solarus Check bandai official blog, on the mode. Its called Custom Battle and its about players setting up fights and sharing them online for others to play.

The shenron summon DLC description is referring to the fact that you can summon shenron once immediately after getting the dlc, without collecting all the dragon balls.
That means you can collect the dragon balls to summon shenron or super shenron in-game, but the bonus with the dlc is a freebie essentially
I think the reason why local multiplayer is only in the time chamber is because of the environmental destruction lowering the frame rate, so that’s one of their concerns
I'm stoked for a what-if creator! But when I read that on the website, to me, it read like it was just saving replays from online/vs mode
It absolutely doesn't read like that. It wouldn't draw attention to a basic a** mechanic that most fighters have.
It would be cool if we could actually get a villains perspective in the story mode! Supersonic Warriors had one for all of the villain characters and it was cool to play through the "bad ending"

Maybe they dont have split screen for other maps is probably because of how split screen works. Giving a basic research:
You need to basically render the map and all of the effects twice or smth like that. It makes sense why they picked the time chamber since there is nothing there. Maybe it could also work with Whis training room. (The place where Goku and Vegeta trained once).
Yeha these were my thoughts as well. I hope eventually they include more.
God I’m so excited for this game, the What If creator, and the amount of possible What Ifs I’m gonna create. I’m definitely making a lot Goten and Trunks What Ifs if possible.

I’m convinced the mystery pre order character is a newly designed character by Toriyama, as they’re insisting it’s a “new” character.
No way beast or orange piccolo is pre-order only, people would be upset if they want them after the game comes out. If the gammas are dlc, I’m convinced they are too until I see it with my own eyes
They never said it was a "new" character, just a character that has never been in the Tenkaichi games.

Those last 3 characters have to be characters that had an actual impact on the story or a battle, this narrows it down quite a bit but not enough that we can guarantee who the last three will actually be
My prediction for the mystery character might actually be one that actually showed up in Kakarot as a secret boss: Mira. Why I say this is because of the whole What If stuff we're getting in this game. And it would be really cool if Mira, and alongside him, Towa, got added into the game. I doubt the Supreme Kai of Time will get a slot, but it'd still be very interesting regardless
Long shot here I hope the NEVER BEFORE SEEN character is Ultra Ego Vegeta 💜
It'd be really funny if the secrect character was bio broly, everyone either laughed or raged, and then he was the most overpowered character for no reason.
I think the story will be similar to BT3, with each battle being isolated events. Like if you choose to fight Raditz with Krillin, it changes how that battle plays out, but won’t change future story arcs based on that decision. Like how you can win battles in BT3 with certain character, like beating Nappa with Tien, that change the dialogue and ending, but doesn’t change the Namek saga for example. That’s what it seems like to me, because making each choice change how the entire story plays out seems like it would be way too much.
Dudeeeeeeeeeee, i never thought about the fact that the first person views were connected to the eight different perspectives you can play as, i assume its Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, Krillin, Tien and Yamcha

When Mr. Satan shows up you can see that he is on the TOP stage and Bergamo is behind him. So maybe it's a what if Mr. Satan replaced Majin Buu instead of Frieza?
I honestly think that the hidden DLC character will be a base form Daima villain. Kinda like what they did with Goku Black with XV2

Honestly, that preorder character could be literally anyone from Battle of Gods onwards, since basically everyone from Super is someone who’s never been seen before in Budokai Tenkaichi.
But my guess is that it’s Android 21?

Reading it, it does seems to imply something like a Custom Fight mode where you could set stuff like the parameters of the fight (like HP, unique conditions), location, characters, etc that you can play and tweak yourself and then upload and share online with maybe with some manual control of what animations and lines play at the opening and end of a fight rather than a full blown story creator mode.

For costumes with different super attacks, I think the supers will vary by costume in the “normal” set, and there could be “custom” sets with z items and custom supers.

I think the editions that cost more allow you to get an immediate wish from Shenron and Super Shenron before you collect their respective balls (also I hope we can summon Porunga too)
I fully believe the secret character is gonna be Android 21. She fits in my opinion because they've been adding her into everything like Super Hero, Legends, Xenoverse, and Kakarot

I think the hyperbolic time chamber may be the best stage yet! So in the Anime the hyperbolic time chamber could change over time to be anything with different levels of intensity and weather changes and environments…. It could be that inside the hyperbolic time chambers the stages are randomly generated during your battles and change as the battle goes on which imo would be hands down the dopest stage if that is the mechanism to the stage and if it’s a playable stage online then that would be awesome too with that same mechanic (I always trained on the hyperbolic stage) so this makes me excited to hear it

Sadly any Super character qualifies as a “never before seen in a budokai tenkaichi” character. So pinning them down would be impossible. It’ll be easier the more characters are revealed though.

Characters like Time patroller Trunks, Mira, Fu, Towa and Chronoa
Because in Dbz Kakarot, there was cameo of Mira and Towa and Fu (i might be misremembering, because i haven't played dbz kakarot)
And we'll get What if events in story mode
And because, they're incorrect events, Fu might appear and destroy the timeline
