Hey, unfortunately, the update for DOORS can't arrive in December as we originally promised. We're now aiming for a release in January. We'll provide an accurate release date once we finish all the content and have moved into the testing phase. New things we can find in this teaser trailer! 1: The infirmary teased is here 2: A skull door that can be unlocked with a skull key (could be boss room or shop area?) 3: A hand held candle that acts as a light source 4: A different type of closet to hide in (may have a gimmick) 5: A bigger room that basically combines 2 rooms into one 6: Rush has spawned in as the player is holding a cross, this cross drags Rush into the ground 7: The Cross can be used to pull entitys (rush and ambush as example) into the ground, this item is most likely tied to the Guiding Light because at 0:22, we see chains pull Rush into the ground with a blue glow. 8: The words that appear in the teaser are “THE RULES HAVE CHANGED” most likely implying that there will be new gimmicks, entitys, rooms, and rules, the rules could probably be that the player can actully survive a entity attack now. 9: We can see a cross form together in the teaser, this could imply (probably not) that we will have to find pieces of the cross to form it. This update has a lot more potential then people think. This could make for more interesting experiences during the game, like more sections in seeks hallway, or a revamped figure. They could also make a room for only multiplayer where the players have to complete a minigame to progress. Huge props to Lighting_Splash, Redibles, and the LSplash team!
the LSPLASH team is 3 people... it's so fascinating how only 3 people made this entire game with just 3 devs! sadly, Evade beat DOORS to 1B visits, and DOORS is second place in fastest game to hit 1B visits.

Doors dev instead released the update a day shorter because they finished the update and as LSPASH said: "We're really sorry that this happened and are as disappointed as you are that we couldn't ship the update in time" which means they were finished in time to release the Update on Jan 28th instead of Jan 29th

First off great trailer, round of applause for the dev team, second, I’m really looking forward to the Crucifix being added into the game, thirdly, there was also that thing around rush and the skull on the doors (which might be unlocked with the skeleton key) and the candle the player was holding. I’m so hyped about this update and best of all, I LOVE the remix of the lobby music at the end of the trailer. It goes so well with the rhythm.

It’s crazy to think that Lsplash was an small team making ragdoll universe and then boom doors comes out Doors now is one of the biggest projects. I remember playing ragdoll universe 1 year ago I didn’t expect something like this in the future I’m proud of Lsplash keep it up!
I didn’t play doors till hotel+ and when I joined I found out how good it really is! And I’m really good at it now in fact I can beat it on mobile or x-box

I love to see the skeleton key and the crucifix are added into the game, along side a new light source the candle, which by the looks of it might be an indicator for an oncoming monster since it went out so abruptly with blue sparkles that most people know are associated with the guiding light and the player holding the candle instantly goes into a closet
Some people think the candle's light changed blue because there is this custom monster called depth, it might mean (IF, it is getting added) that depth is there (this is so confusing oml)
I’m so excited to see this in game! I have an idea about the candle. As you can possibly see, the candle held by a player in one of the scenes goes out with a little bit of blue sparks and after this, the player hides in a closet. This could be a hint of a new entity that spawns in dark froms and can be detected by the Guiding Light putting out the candle! Just a little idea. I am so so so excited to see all this in game and I can’t wait to play it myself!
I think this could be correct, think about it, lighters are very common so candles will be a bit pointless, but if candles signal a new entitie then it would make more sense

2 minor things on what I would like to see in the game. A death tracker in the lobby (something that says how many times you have died[)could be useful for the hundreds of many achievment] The ability to drop an item on the floor for your friend to pick up.
Few theories: If it’s true that you will be able to go down different doors based on another trailer, along with the new items and room design shown in this trailer, I hope this could mean the hotel becoming more expansive; I’d love to see it have optional things in the side like, for example, doing the fire place puzzle or even new puzzles to get rewards (like the cross), so that even though the rooms are repeating, it feels like you’re actually exploring a hotel. However, back to the point of choosing your next door, it may have been a new monster, a deceiving one- where there would be a fake door in which the monster attacks from (you would know it’s fake by hints like the door number being out of order or inconsistencies with the fake door’s design, which may have been also what the trailer was getting at). Either way, these teasers have been great, we’re rooting for you Lsplash! Your game is already one of the most unique and most fun games on Roblox, and we can’t thank you enough for that!

Doors devs, this update looks AMAZING, I am very hyped. Edit: someone told me that the candle doesn’t light up the room, so I think it might be used to detect a new entity when the candle goes out it means it’s coming

2 minor things on what I would like to see in the game.
A death tracker in the lobby (something that says how many times you have died[)could be useful for the hundreds of many achievment]
The ability to drop an item on the floor for your friend to pick up.

Few theories:
If it’s true that you will be able to go down different doors based on another trailer, along with the new items and room design shown in this trailer, I hope this could mean the hotel becoming more expansive; I’d love to see it have optional things in the side like, for example, doing the fire place puzzle or even new puzzles to get rewards (like the cross), so that even though the rooms are repeating, it feels like you’re actually exploring a hotel. However, back to the point of choosing your next door, it may have been a new monster, a deceiving one- where there would be a fake door in which the monster attacks from (you would know it’s fake by hints like the door number being out of order or inconsistencies with the fake door’s design, which may have been also what the trailer was getting at). Either way, these teasers have been great, we’re rooting for you Lsplash! Your game is already one of the most unique and most fun games on Roblox, and we can’t thank you enough for that!
