awareness. But a Government employee is not allowed to run his any business till he is in service. So is running Such channels is not
considered a business as they also generate revenue from this and the time devoted by them to prepare
such content hampering their daily duties. What are the rules under which they are allowed to do so.
(1) To run a RUclips channel ?
(2) The revenue generated by them from RUclips is not their extra income ?
(3) What action can be taken on them on by Department if it is a business activity ?

Little correction - they are not allowed to do any other job or services in any state government or in central government , which is known as "office of profit" . Or they can't do any other job which is against the Code of Conduct rule of their respected services .

It shouldn't be like this. Obviously I agre that IAS is a top most service that all the candidates aspire to become but if a particular service is designed to regulate this department then the highest position holder should be from the same service only. I mean in case of IT Department, instead of IAS becoming the top most officials in this department it should be an IRS officer.
