Dear Beloveds,
We sure love to analyze things when life goes sideways, don't we? I imagine us with our magnifying lenses, like a bunch of little Sherlock Holmes types, asking "What did THEY do? Why did THEY do that? What were THEY thinking?" It's natural. Our brains are built to seek meaning, and we want to understand. The challenge is that the most pivotal element in anything going on in our lives isn't "THEM." It's within us. Working with a practitioner helped me learn to put down the lens and look in the mirror, exploring what was happening in my own mind and heart. I thought I needed THEM to change in order to have a happier life. It turned out that shifting my own perspective made all the difference. Looking in the mirror first is the key to laying down our old stories, opening up to new possibilities and showing up more powerfully.
This Sunday, we are celebrating our Practitioner Core. These wonderful souls hold our community in prayer, teach classes, facilitate groups and serve in countless ways every week. Our practitioners are also available for invaluable individual sessions, where they listen, support and guide us in using the Science of Mind Principles to improve our lives. They are specialists in helping us look in the mirror and see our own truth. You are so invited to explore moving "From Lens to Mirror" on Sunday.
