I used to stay in Midigama/ Sri Lanka for 3 dollars a night 11 years ago. Add 5 dollars a day for great food. 240 dollars for a month, food and room included. Prices these days have escalated.

Siargao is a really great place. I have only been there once but I had an absolute blast. Cloud 9 is not an easy wave but there are many options in the area with the two twin waves Stimpy's (left) and Rock Island (right) being my favorites. It looks like wind could be an issue though as storms have become frequent even outside the traditional stormy season.
