Wonderfully done! This aircraft is an exquisite artwork, simply magnificent and a brilliant design. I must say, the P180 is the best looking turboprop there is!
Very nice spot landing, and what a view from the large windows of the Avanti.
Brilliant video
Love the Avanti. Will own one one day.
+stratobee They're super nice aircraft, non?
Also, hows your Commander doing? Haven't seen any videos in a while!
Spot on landing! I'm just about to receive my private pilots license and I must say its a bit hair raising to land on the numbers let alone the threshold. It always feels like I'm gonna land on the grass.
Awesome!
it is unbelievable that you can hear people chatting on the back :- 1
Great! What a machine. I want to fly the Avanti.
Stoll on Final 2 times its crazy
"Stoll"??? It's not crazy, it's just the too sensitive AOA sensor, it happens often when you fly at Vref with the P180, and you know Vref is 1.3 stall speed. I was not even close to stall, when you are, you hear a lot of airflow noise from the forward wing, and it comes seconds after the stall warning...
When I think of short field, I think of the DHC-6 turboprop Twin Otter. I absolutely love that airplane. She is not fast, about 160 KIAS But she will land on a dime and give you a nickel change. She is also designed to work off field with tundra tires.
Yes, you're right. Here I mean "short" as "short for a P180" :)
I wish I'll be richer
