Oh man! I miss my country! I spent a lot of time in Montezuma Beach when I was going to college at the UCR. Now, I spend a lot of time freezing in the cold waters of Santa Cruz, California. Cheers and Pura Vida!.
Hey thanks for watching and your feedback. I didn't get a chance to visit Montezuma Beach this time around but it is beautiful and visiting the Cascada De Montezuma is a must. Saludos desde Costa Rica y Pura Vida !
This is making me miss costa rica so much, santa teresa was the first weekend trip I took during my study abroad trip, and was the first place i’ve ever surfed 😩😭
Thank you for your feedback. Yes so many different options of things to do and explore. Glad you enjoyed it when you were here and hope you can come back again !
You've given me a new perspective on the Nicoya peninsula, the beaches look great and combining that w/ an eco-lodge would be a great combination. Looking forward to returning to one of my favorite countries soon!
Playa Coyote is actually my favorite beach. White sand, no big waves, and a flat bottom. It is a pretty big area. The only thing is there is not much for restaurants or stores, if anything. Last March there was only 1 restaurant in the area.
Hi Jean. Thank you for watching and commenting The Caribbean is probably the best-kept secret of Costa Rica. The Gandoca-Manzanillo National Park in my opinion is one of the nicest in the country. The area has spectacular beaches from Cahuita, Puerto Viejo, Cocles, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo just to name a few. Over the years I have had the opportunity to travel and spend time in the area and I would like to continue to see this area preserve its environmental charm rather than have it overflow with the type of development that is occurring in some parts of Guanacaste for example. The reason I have not done a video on the area is that I have not had the chance to travel down in some time.
Hi Tyler. Both are great options and unique in their own way. Manzanillo is quiet since not much there yet but it is close enough to Santa Teresa which is full of activity. Samara is busier and more activities and amenities around town.
You are correct I would say 99% of us don't have a celebrity budget. I was just trying to point out one of the factors why the area has gotten so much attention.
This is great. Thank you!
You're very welcome! and thank you for watching

We have a house between Tambor and Cobano. We love this area. Great food and night life. We prefer Playa Hermosa as far as beaches go!
Thank you for your feedback. I can see why you love the area and Playa Hermosa was great.
Great video,thanks buddy 👍

How was manazillo? My family and I are looking at either staying there for a month or Samara.

Love, Love this area......houses are getting over priced, sad........more people would retire there if house prices where lower.
You are right on. I had not been to the area in many years and was surprised at how expensive the housing was in certain parts.
Si muchos se aprovechan,lastima🇨🇷
Hi! For a Small car how is the road from Santa Teresa to Mal Pais?
The road is fine from Santa Teresa to Mal Pais for a small car
Not everyone has a celebrity Budget
