With these being within 5k of the smaller models why not? You always hear "I wish my tractor was bigger", but never "I wish my tractor was smaller". I have both Case and New Holland 30 miles from me.

Don't listen to MSRP either, the disconnect between MSRP and what the dealer can sell it to you for and still make money is astounding...I believe the MSRP was over $66k on my 75C, more than $20k more than I paid. Craziness. Very similar to buying a new pickup truck. I put this video up because I was having trouble finding reliable info out there. Thanks again for the comment!
The $64K price tag comes from the general cost today of $1000/HP for a tractor. Yes, it is a lot, but you almost never buy a tractor that is larger than you need. But 45K is a good price for a nice piece of equipment. And yes, you can do big round bales with this tractor. I have seen it done with smaller tractors; it all depends on weight. So have calcium in the tires and weighted properly. It is a great tractor.
I priced around and the $64K is what I was told for a 75A Full Cab Loader 4wd from several dealers. I found a online dealer in another state that would sell me a new 2023 Case 75A for $55K. Adding the hay spear attachment and shipping increased the total to $56K. I've had it for 2 months and I'm really liking it. Plus, I have a 1990 Case 685 Canopy Loader 2wd that we are still using on the cattle farm.
Did you ask for the smaller tires or is that the way it comes now? I bought one early in 2020 and it has taller tires. I have almost 200 hours on it and love it. Hope you lake yours as much as I do.
Mine came with the R4 industrial tires. Probably not as big or as intense as the ag tires, but they should be fine for my terrain as I will primarily use tractor for hay and on pavement.
That wiper motor would drive me crazy. I do like that tractor but I think that would keep me from buying it. I do like how it comes standard with things that are options on other brands.
Are you talking about it blocking visibility? It actually isn't bad from the point of view of the seat, it is behind the steering wheel. The location of the camera probably makes it look worse
@@simpleman4196 I'm happy so far, haven't had true tests with it yet but working on another video now where I am using a hydraulic toplink and a 3 pt to quick tach adapter to use a 4 in 1 bucket on the back. I am impressed with the amount of settings and adjustability I have available. Will be doing hay work with tractor this year and will get a much better idea for how it performs then, but so far so good. You get a lot for your money when comparing to the compact tractor category .
You’d hate my JD 835M gator...the wiper motor cover is 4.5” x 10” on the windshield. It’s the least of my problems with the gator. Keeping the gator out of the shop is the big issue.
Which Flat Face couplers did you end up switching out with the factory third function smaller couplers that came on the tractor? Any trouble plumbing them together with the old fittings?
It requires 3/8" Flat face couplers and I believe I needed 2 male couplers because both were female on the tractor. You can adapt them to 1/2" with an adapter but keep it simple because you don't want it sticking out far. If I ever get time, I think it would be worth it just to change the fittings on the tractor to 1/2" because the adapter is kind of a pain and it can interfere with some attachments.
@@driftlessinwi I’ve looked around for the right part to make the tractor 1/2 couplers, but haven’t found the right ones to connect into the female 3/4 fitting with the o ring built in.
Maybe someone else can chime in...I keep it in an insulated shed that gets into the 20s whenever it is below 0 out so I have never had to start it when the tractor was really cold. I would imagine it would be like all my other diesel engines where I try to plug the block heater in whenever the machine is below 20F. Sorry I don't have more info at this time.

I used it to put up 86 rolls of hay the other day. The more I use it, the more I like it. Thanks for the info on your 75C.
Yes, the top gear selector with 1 through 4 gears works while moving with clutch use. The low middle high range selector doesn't work well when moving, ie. You can grind gears if you don't stop when shifting those. Hope that helps!
Doing great, I have the grapple bucket on the front moving brush piles for burning and a box blade on the back. I need to get another video out on it, but haven't really found many compelling video ideas. It is cold in WI now and it seems to perform alright in cold, it sputters a bit more on a below 0 day than my CAT306 when starting up so I might start using the engine block heater on the really cold days. I still struggle with hooking up attachments and loader work because you can't see in front, but I am getting better with practice. @@driftlessinwi im in MN, so we should have similar conditions, with that said, how does moving snow go with it? my currrent tractor , 2020 Kubota L6060 struggles as there just isnt enough chasis weight there. next question is how bad do the windows fog up? i noticed on the 75c's that the heat registers are all on the front consoel and there arent any on the back window? i have a rear snow blower and looking out the rear, my rear window becomes ridiculously fogged up even with heated glass.
@@theloweshow3047 i haven't used it for snow removal yet, I did test out the box blade in the snow though, going in reverse and it seems to power through everything. My rear tires are fluid filled R4s and I have the loader with a 1500lb attachment so there was a lot of weight. I don't anticipate any issues with plowing, has to be much better than my CTL was. The fogging is somewhat of an issue for rearward windows, if I put the fan on max it seems to do OK. I haven't spent a lot of time going backward though (other than when testing box blade). I tend to be warm enough that I just open the back window anyway, even in winter :)

Tough choice, you probably won't go wrong with any of them, I would probably just pick based on dealer and price :) The best thing about JD is resale, but they tend to cost a lot more up front so it's kind of a wash. I don't even know what the 5070 with a cab runs, but I imagine it is much more expensive than the 75c. Will work on that video when it gets a bit warmer :)
We bought a brand new deere 12 months ago, nothing but problems. The roof leaked, nobs fell off, oil leaks, deisel leaks. Got hot slashing and Took off down the hills. Controls are no where near as user friendly. Going from 2nd to 3rd on the move is an issue as it slips into park quiet easily ..bad set up. I do not like it at all. I have a kubota as well its a nice tractor to drive. I really tried to like the deere but its definitely not something I'd buy again unfortunately
Thanks for the comment...I have many different brands of machines, including two John Deere's, and I think they all have their lemons and random issues. So far the Case has been good, but it will get more fully put to the test during hay season this year. Plus, I do have a warranty and a Case dealer 3 miles away so that's nice. I will keep the channel updated with how things are working with this tractor.

They don’t all have to be in neutral when you’re starting it. They are very nice tractors though

No problems with emissions, the only issue was my ac hose blew, otherwise been a great tractor

Yes, the top gear selector with 1 through 4 gears works while moving with clutch use. The low middle high range selector doesn't work well when moving, ie. You can grind gears if you don't stop when shifting those. Hope that helps!
