Great Bike, happy riding! I do highly recommend going for the Comp model if you can (Alloy or Carbon). I'm lucky enough to have the Comp Carbon since 10 months and it is a dream Bike. It's just that the componets on the Comp are far superior in every way and you literally don't need to upgrade them. The rear shock is so important how that bike comes to life in the middle traction mode on the comp. Just my opinion after testing those bikes intensively for weeks before buying one. Cheers
@@lanceoa Awesome to hear, yea I think the only possible weak spot could be the SX-derailleur (if you are unlucky). Its a dream Bike for sure and for 2100$ it's a bargain! Happy riding my friend! Cheers from Switzerland
Picking one up tomorrow! S3 size fit me like a glove. I’m 5’9 245lbs. Test road it today and it is going to be my first ever full suspension. Been rocking the hard tail for a year now. I’m planning on riding as is and upgrading as I break stuff. Having it set up tubeless “even tho it doesn’t say tubeless ready?” and going to ride the shit out of it. I’m brand new so I don’t know the difference in stock or something better. The derailer will probably be my first upgrade and might do that before I break the SX plastic one. Point is for me this bike is awesome. And will be fun upgrading parts and learning.
@@lanceoa Actually upgraded it before I left the shop to a GX, road today on a local trail and everything was good to go.....except me...I'm really out shape still. Brakes were fine....Shocks felt "shocky" I mean I'm really happy with it.
I’m also thinking of getting this same setup and same size (I am same height as you). I was looking into the stumpjumper evo comp with the carbon at $3750 but I heard there are folks getting carbon frame cracks on impact with the bottom of the frame where the bottom tube juts out - it apparently is the first point of contact with some stumps and rocks) - so maybe alloy is the way to go??
Yeah longetivity wise - alloy is the way to go… no need to worry about cracks from big hits, I have some upgrades planned to make it perform but it will be a bit more durable long term
Yeah I think I caught that after I went thru the bike… I have some Hunt Carbon wheels on pre-order… hoping to make it more responsive and easier find lines thru semi-technical riding

Thanks.. ended up upgrading some drivetrain components to get it how I like it… overall very pleased and should get some years and mileage out of it

Awesome! Yeah the derailleur is slow af, definitely upgrade worthy asap. Enjoy

Thanks my friend across the pond
My local bike shop is selling the same one for 1800?
Should I buy
Last one
How’s the bike handled? I just ordered the satin redwood edition, gotta wait for it to come in😊
Bike is sweet!!! Upgraded a couple of bits already but she’s good to start duty at your local trails.
Какой у Вас рост,что выбрали ростовку S2?

i thing the wheel ID is less than 30mm...i wish they were wider because I like 2.4"-2.6" tires. Nice bike otherwise!

The flip chip is on the chain stay.
Also, you should check out some of the upgrades I did on my channel.
How tall are you? Because i dont know what size to get
Nvm you said in the video
GL - it’s a pretty great ride
@@lanceoa u have convinced me to get one i think
sweet ride. just doing research on them. ps you really shouldnt clamp a dropper post. clamp the frame instead.
Thx for the tip.. loving this bike
What's the weight on your s2? Sweet bike btw! 🔥
35 pounds on the money… I show it at the end in KG and Pounds
Are you still into your gold and silver ?
Hey Tom - I held onto a bit, but am actively swapping over to lux watches to pass on to my children someday
Dang 35 lbs even after going tubeless. That makes me sad.
Not inspiring, but very capable and easily can go on a diet… tough to ask for too much more at $2k
Don't buy people the sx is trash and don't get me started on the trash BB
Had a great ride today, yes SX is slow as shit to change gears… first upgrade incoming!
Ya changed out bb and cranks to gx . My sx shifter, derailleur and cassette still going strong with some adjustments and new chain. 2years in
