This tip worked great for me.
Thank you!
Oh my goodness! Now I know what that power broom thing is! (Have seen them for sale at surplus store.). Thank you! I might rescue some old turf for my dog to use. : )
very useful for a new comer in this field
This video is very educational, I really like.
Looks great
Beautiful job love Ur work
Great video! Thank you
Great advice!
Looks good guys.
Is that you, Marty? Nice!
Beautiful
The video was really helpful!
great video you really explained alot thanks, just one thing tho you haven't used joining tape or seam tape can you please tell me why, and does it make a difference? im buying some grass to put down in a few days so i would appreciate the advice thanks again.
I am trying to form a small garden, or at least a military base or 4x4 area. I tried taping the sheets of fake grass but failed. Now I've ordered some superglue to glue them from beneath. I've got no soil underneath so good luck with me trying this method out. However, I may try and staple them together if the glue fails. Thanks.
you guys don't use joining tape, do u? and how many mm for the pin spacing?
Is this on dirt? we need to install on concrete. Also any ideas on how to remove the in-fill on the used turf before installing?
I would thing for longevity tape glue and nails.
What if its on a balcony you can't staple into a roof and add holes?
hello I live in Kenya and I need a artificial grass so how should u help me
Tranfer me the payment first , and I'll do the installation later 🤔
What I don't get is given you've already got the right width, why do you still need 1/16th inch spacing? Shouldnt the backings be touching already?
Nice artificial grass
how mm is that?
How much for installation?
I only see this on smaller lots
Can you please recommend a good supplier of this grass
Act Global Ltd
No glue needed ??
Artificial power brum how important is it
The best? that's bold...did you hear about GRASSFITT? That's the best glue for artificial grass.
Finished install looks good, but this is the only seaming video I have seen that does not use seam tape and adhesive (along with the nails). Which method yields superior longevity? My money is on the seam tape (with nails) instead of nails only as this video shows.
It basically boils down to your soil type: staples are fine if you have soft soil, and tape is good if you have hard or rocky base. If the soil is not soft, the staples will bend easily, requiring to move the staples, resulting in uneven spacing and "ripples" at the seam.
Personally, the staple method seems to require more labor, while the tape method is fine as long as you get good tape and adhesive.
This site does a good job explaining the difference: syntheticgrasswarehouse.com/ask-jw-staples-vs-glue/
Keep in mind this video is 7 years old. Did they even have a tape and glue back then to use?
They've gotten a far better result here than the guy who did my parents turf . Not impressed when 7 years ago guys with no tape and glue were doing this good of a job. Guess the key is to find someone who is willing and able to do a good job.
I did not see our landscapers use 6" inch nails around the perimeter during our installation. Also, they did not butt the cut pieces of artificial grass together. They slightly overlapped them and then secured it. Now, there is a big seem that is very noticeable. Is there still a way for them to fix it or is it too late?
Im no expert but Im sure they can just cut the part that’s overlapping and do what they said here.
Get them to fix it
By that description, they did a bad job. Unless it wasn't finished yet.
how much does a synthetic grass layer earn per year ?
2000 a month
2000 a week more like
the installer is now finished and the installer is now heading for a bottle shop , the installer is on his 3rd drink the installer is now drunk the installer will be hungover Tommorow but will continue to get up and install more grass the installer is good
Procutta is light years beyond this.
Or is it just 7 years beyond it?
What about glue and infill ?. hmmmm
You
why use crush and run stone below an ARTIFICAL LAWN? It is only being walk on!!! Not a DRIVEWAY????
dont use staples. You will see the seam dont matter how careful you are. use 5" nails
If you all have not seen a documentary called.... It's worse than you think... By relations with Jesus Christ ministries... I suggest you do.... all Praise and glory to the most high Jesus Christ
It’s 3 lines when cutting not two. Already a mistake in for these “professionals” my ass.
