Stevenson is a small town in northeast Alabama hidden in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is the point where the NS Memphis East & CSX Chattanooga sub team up to descend into Chattanooga, TN. On average one could expect anywhere from 20-30 trains in a 24 hour period.
