I wonder how many Sepultura fans know that Grayson has probably the best fundamentals of any modern drummer and that this band has a true blessing is disguise. Grayson living out the music that drives him. Very cool!!!
Not necessarily a sepultura fan, but first time I ever heard of greyson was his whiplash solo. It's a bit weird to see him make such a drastic change, still cool tho

i still cant believe that the same person not that long ago was playing some the hardest jazz and big band stuff and is now playing stuff like this truly incredible
I mean, Sepultura will release a live album with 40 songs (they previously said that they want to release it in four chapters á 10 songs). So at least we will have him on that.

Brann, Eloy and Greyson are my personal favorites. Brann may not have the wider skillset of Grey or Eloy, but him being able to sing while he plays puts him on their level. I just watched Eloy play a Mastodon song and he was gassed. And that was without having to sing!

He seems really on the edge here, pushing his skills pretty hard. The result is awesome. Remember that in metal you have to hit way harder and that many jazz players are not used to that.
