Nice retrospective! This is in my top five games after 40 years of gaming! RDR2, ME2, Witcher 3, GTA5, and Skyrim. Now I am waiting for the next favorite game! I am 70, so the publishers need to step it up!
Arthur explaining hiw he wants to be laid to rest is why I love writing and writers. In real life things happen and or things happen and it feels purposeful, so in games and other media, we can choose to write everything with meaning. Even if you never were gonna catch that dialog, its cool to see it and being reminded of what happened immediately.
This game…it’s more than just a game. It’s beautiful, and majestic. It’s a masterpiece, everything from the actors pouring their hearts into their characters and the amazing graphics that capture a story that makes us believe it’s real and we love it. Not only does Arthur die facing the sunrise, but when you go to visit his grave, it's pointing towards the west. Just simple things like that that makes this game even more beautiful
That's why this game is the goat. The amount of detail, immersion, love and pure enjoyment for rockstar to make this shows in this game. Just started playing this again. I am still blown away by the amount of details and things you can do in this game. love everything about this game.
Man that last one always hits hard as always. I never thought of it like that. Instead of being towards the setting sun, thinking of his life before him, he sees the rising sun, the life he was able to give to John

The end of the video kind of made me emotional, the song choice was nice as is. And that paired with arthur's death scene and all the cute stuff you put at the end, it was really nice.
Loved the series!. You show how much you loved this game, as every piece of work you create with such passion. Hope to see more videos like this if we ever get the chance to have a game with at least a fraction of care in the details as we see in RDR 2. ❤
Currently going through the game a second time and I've been checking out alot of these things I didn't realize were possible in the game thanks to you. The music is always 🔥 btw
When Hosea said "When I die, I just want to be buried with friends." almost had me dropping a tear. Also, yes Arthur dies watching the sun rise, but he is buried facing west "so he can watch the setting sun", just as he wished. ;)
It's actually the opposite, Arthur didn't watch the setting sun, he watched the sunrise. The common interpretation of this detail is that, instead of reminiscing about the his past, he gave a new life to people.
I can't even hear the last part of Arthur's journey without tearing up, at the start of the game I didn't cry, I don't even know why but now I always tear up and have to pause the video for a good second, this game was perfectly written and played out.
Its really crazy to me how the company that created this masterpiece its the same one that keeps milking every last drop of a broken economy in a 9 year old game.
this game is such a beauty. the story, the gameplay. everything. rd online is good too, but with so many different in-game currency and micro-transaction ruined it for me
Arthurs death is arguably one of the saddest video game moments I've ever experienced. My first playthrough, I knew he was sick but I thought, ag its a game, he's the main character, no way he's going to die. I actually cried! I love this game so much man!
Words cannot describe how amazing this game is. It’s just amazing, the gameplay, story line, the beauty of the world this game gave. It’s just incredible. I think it’s a masterpiece.
I love Arthur Morgan and this video made me realize how much I love Johnny Marston, that music at the end was beautiful thanks for the video What a beautiful world we live in and listening to Arthur take his last breath really got me, cherish every moment in life that you have, we all need to be like Arthur and try and be better
The amount of details in this game amaze me more and more, even smaller details than shown in this video,Rockstar really did put effort in this game, there are small details in the game that no one would if it wasn't in the game
I just have to say I found your channel from these videos and this one was seriously the best and the last detail that was done was my favorite one that I noticed when playing the game my first time, it's what made me cry when he died. Thank you for showing me the dialogue again so I can remember 👍😂
Thank you! That dialogue had a big impact on how I viewed each of their journeys in the game. I highly recommend this amazing video that Roger Clark shouted out recently. It also changed how I look at Arthur's journey. ruclips.net/video/_NN1DOta7P0/видео.html
I love Arthur's awkward little bow at 7:40 like he's not really sure how it goes. I feel like that's the sort of thing that really only could have been done with motion capture. Idk that an animator creating from scratch would have been able to capture that awkwardness so faithfully.
Man the way you edited the end with how the gang said they preferred their graves…. So much respect for this game. I was emotional for a lot of this game
I remembered that dance with Karen when I reached the epilogue so I spent hours looking for her across the entire map after stumbling into everybody else and all you can find is Tilly's theory that she died. Hopefully Rockstar did that in case they want to bring her back with other characters if RDR3 is a sequel instead of tearing my heart in half for no reason
You sir are one of the greatest creator on RUclips. I am glad and lucky to have found your channel all those years ago. Your videos are something different with the way you edit it, with no voiceover and one of the best selection of music. Keep up the good work.
I’ve noticed when riding back to beaver hollow from butcher creek in chapter 6 you can see a large buck on top of the cliff looking down at Arthur. When you look back at him, he turns away and runs off out of sight. I would imagine with low honor it’s a wolf watching you.
Arthur's death gets me everytime, i have always been emotionless in every game ive played, but rdr2 is the best game ive played ever and gets me in every emetions (laugh, amuse, fun, cry, angry, etc.) This game is perfect.
This game has been out for five years and more, and yet people still are discovering things. RDR2 is a beautiful game filled to the brim with hidden stories, and the main story itself is also awesome. RDR2 has to be one of the best games made to date, ever.

i really cried with the death foreshadowing part, great video as always
08:30 I'm not crying, you are crying
I love Arthur Morgan and this video made me realize how much I love Johnny Marston, that music at the end was beautiful thanks for the video
What a beautiful world we live in and listening to Arthur take his last breath really got me, cherish every moment in life that you have, we all need to be like Arthur and try and be better
"Arthur dies a changed man. He dies watching the sun rising." Okay well great I didn't really plan on crying on a Tuesday afternoon but here I am

"I only kill when i need to"
I got goosebumps at the end. You have an amazing way of telling stories.
The amount of details in this game amaze me more and more, even smaller details than shown in this video,Rockstar really did put effort in this game, there are small details in the game that no one would if it wasn't in the game
You really went right for the feels at the end there. Good shit man
I just have to say I found your channel from these videos and this one was seriously the best and the last detail that was done was my favorite one that I noticed when playing the game my first time, it's what made me cry when he died.
BRO CHARLES WENT MEDIEVAL ON THE MACHETE GUY 0:28
This was a really great video! Love the song choice
Man the way you edited the end with how the gang said they preferred their graves…. So much respect for this game. I was emotional for a lot of this game
Those last few ones were incredible. They made me tear up so quick. Great job Guru!
Yung Lean playing in the middle of the video is just amazing. Guru you´re the best man!
😊
beautiful, what a masterpiece... thank you ❤
The end made me cry no joke i have never felt such emten to a video game character ever until my 3 playthroughs of red dead
The fact that there’s stuff in this that I still didn’t know about until now is amazing.
My eyes..., the ending in this video is great, my eyes are as grateful for reminding me of this blessed ending as they are wet. Congrats.
No matter how many times I play this game I find new stuff, the last ride and Arthur's death still gets to me
You sir are one of the greatest creator on RUclips. I am glad and lucky to have found your channel all those years ago.
Your videos are something different with the way you edit it, with no voiceover and one of the best selection of music. Keep up the good work.
The Last one made me cry because you get to know the life the memories of your character it's like losing a friend or a family member.
Well, here I am, at 644am on a wednesday crying my eyes out. Fantastic work, my friend.
Major props for choosing that song at the end
A magnificent vibe these videos were. TY.
daamn the incredible amount of goosebumps I get with Hosea, Lenny and Arthur
I’ve noticed when riding back to beaver hollow from butcher creek in chapter 6 you can see a large buck on top of the cliff looking down at Arthur. When you look back at him, he turns away and runs off out of sight. I would imagine with low honor it’s a wolf watching you.
Guru...that final final last few minutes... oh man that hurt more than the good ending of red dead 2
Arthur's death gets me everytime, i have always been emotionless in every game ive played, but rdr2 is the best game ive played ever and gets me in every emetions (laugh, amuse, fun, cry, angry, etc.)
This game is perfect.
i cried again in the end. any player knows how Arthur changed in the end to the most caring and social man he helped all other peoples.
I started replaying this game the past month and I love it even more
This game has been out for five years and more, and yet people still are discovering things. RDR2 is a beautiful game filled to the brim with hidden stories, and the main story itself is also awesome. RDR2 has to be one of the best games made to date, ever.
