I have a w211 and the error I get is "active headlights display milfuction". What could be the cause? Thanks

It can be a mechanical fault related to the adaptive mechanism under the projector, or the AFS module itself.

@@xenonland Indy stated "out of line/damage". I swapped out old ballest still got same error, I was thnking of buying afs, swap out old, but I feel it wont work. Thoughts
