4th books definitely had the best stories, especially when related to Halloween. :) I wish all of them excluding An Old Story and Awesome Ants were adapted to TV, they would've been perfect. ^^ I still get frustrated when picking my all time fave story out of all 6 books. It's a tie between The Goblin's Glare, Click, and Attack Of The Christmas Present. I can't pick a #1 favorite out of those three. XD Glad you enjoyed this series, Mike. :D
Outside of the Christmas one being the best, i wouldn't know how to rank these, they're all on the same level of "Eh, with a few really good stories". I'd place Still as my least favorite, had less good stories and more bad ones. It was better than I had heard but not great. I'd recommend R.L. Stine's collections "Nightmare Hour" and "The Haunting Hour" if you want more R.L. Stine short story collections. Since they aren't Goosebumps, Stine made them a lot scarier than these stories, which is cool. Hopefully you'll get to the Triple Header books someday, they're a weird middling ground between a normal Goosebumps book and one of these collections.
I've been wanting to read Nightmare Hour and Haunting Hour, some time hahah. I hope they're good. I can't wait to get to those Triple Header books! They look so good! Thank you for watching, God bless you, and merry Christmas!
I still wish the Haunting Hour show's episodes were in the books, excluding 9 from the Nightmare Hour and 1 from the book version of Haunting, which are already episodes. But at least RL Stine got to collaborate with the crew members of the show to make them up. :D Uncle Howee is still my favorite one. ^^
