      Thank you, and I agree! I’m a fan of the material they use on the tongue of the 5’s.

      Nice! Best of luck in your restoration. Being from 06, the midsoles must be very delicate now i’d imagine

    great restoration, btw does that acrylic finisher you added on the netting prevent it from yellowing again?

      Thank you! It slows down the process. Also keeping them inside a box helps too.

    great work. love your videos. very step by step - perfect for beginners like myself.
    did you paint the front part of the sole also white? or did it get so white just by cleaning?

      Thank you! I unyellowed it using my indoor setup. I have a tutorial on how to build one, and I’m working on a new one at the moment.

    How do you know when the sneakers won’t deyellow any further ? Is suppose to take 2 weeks ? I’ve had a pair of bo Jackson shoes in there forever

    • @SneakerStation
      @SneakerStation  Год назад

      Many factors including how old the shoe is and how worn in they are. Unyellowing all the way in an ice box can be expensive. I would only recommend 20-30 hours. That’s when you see the biggest difference.

    How did you reicy the netting @Sneaker station

    • @SneakerStation
      @SneakerStation  4 месяца назад

      I used the icebox and salon care. Don’t try this on the newer jordan 5 releases (2018 onwards) it will ruin it.

      @@SneakerStationdo you know how to unyellow Jordan 5 netting for 2018 shoes or newer?

    • @SneakerStation
      @SneakerStation  2 месяца назад

      @christopherventura4975 I don’t think there’s a way unfortunately. I believe they changed the material and now it stains permanently if you try to ice the newer J5 netting.

      @@SneakerStation My 2022 white Jordan 4s netting was turning yellow. I stuck it into my indoor setup WITHOUT salon care 40 and no wrapping. After 8 hours, it turned white again. I guess the key is to get it early. It wasn’t full yellow, but it was beginning to shade to it. MAYBE this could work on the 5’s netting?

      Thanks for sharing. If the UV light works by itself early, it should work at any stage down the line. Which jordan 4 did you try it on?

    Wow. Clean. How do get the tread f rom being caked up? I did some jordans and the treadlooks crappy

      Keep your paintbrush damp when you paint so the coats are light. Use a heat gun to speed up the drying, and lastly use a needle to poke them out.
